"Volume. The Virginia Bureau of Insurance employees I spoke with were terrible, start to “finish”. Nothing professional about these people at all. I called 50+ times easily over a 6 month period and not one of their employees ever set any kind of reasonable expectation of how long this would take. I’ve had 2 returned phone calls and one non automated email. 0 communication. 6 months. 1 client. 1 “customer”. Couldn’t even service them. If the employees of the Virginia Bureau of Insurance had to sell insurance for income the companies they work for would be insolvent and underwater. Volume. It’s a lot harder on the side of the agent. The employees and your licensing system and staff don’t know how to work much less advise on who should get licensed or not for whatever reason. Aren’t ADA compliant and lets you know! *Edit* Personally, from my household to yours, mind your business. Do not contact me."
"Rude and unhelpful employees. The automated menu gives the impression that they will answer your questions and help resolve issues, but the woman I spoke to did not. She seemed annoyed that I had any questions and just ended the call as quickly as she could"
"It’s going on 6 weeks since I put in my application for a Non Resident Life Insurance License and still nothing. I understand the pandemic but they need to understand it too because everyone is affected by it. Being rude shouldn’t be an option for no one these days. Still waiting..."
"State Farm is ripping people off not paying claims but paying off people to lie in court. State Farm has been found guilty of this practice and Virginia SCC says it is ok and they will do nothing. I have hard concrete evidence of this and nothing is being done."
"I spoke a lady with the licensing department. I was trying to get my license transferred to Texas because I have moved. She was VERY rude and dismissive. When I said thank you she said "welcome" and hung up. As if I didn't have another question... which I did. Not surprised this organization is always quick to get off the phone and not be helpful."
