"Burrito says this is a great spot for a night out. Dumpling thinks the Oz IPA is exactly as advertised and super. Burrito had the sunbeam blonde, which was good, but Dumpling’s beer was definitely better and steal worthy! It was really crowed, but service was prompt and knowledgeable. There were also two food trucks on site. We did the Blackwater BBQ, which was yumz. The food trucks here rotate, so check out their calendar. Definitely worth repeats! FYI, also pet friendly."
"This place is spacious, staff is friendly and menu items seem to be great. I was here for an evening with my PMI HR pints and PDU event. There was DJ outside, bar was open. I didn't order anything since I already had my supper but the folks I sat with ordered some ginger foods that smelled really good when served. There's a merchandise corner that carried shirts. Will come back here to try their menu items."
"Large location with good drinks (even non-alcoholic house-made root beer if you’re the DD) and often have food trucks on site. Indoor and outdoor seating, with old car fronts, picnic tables, fire pits when it’s cold and a tented area when it’s sunny. Well-behaved dogs welcome (and often sighted!) outside. Apparently sensitive plumbing but a good sense of humor (if you couldn’t tell by the name). I do wish they would reopen the upstairs loft since my friends and I liked to sit in the old VW bus. Also, the ordering line can be a little confusing; where it starts/ends, and where to wait for your order. It’s setup better for enjoying your drink(s) than for the initial ordering, but the staff is attentive and I have had multiple people ask me if I have been helped even as one of their coworkers is already pouring for me, so they are ready and waiting to serve, and they do so quickly. They do have the option as well to open a tab, so that cuts down on the process if you return for more beverages. Fairly kid friendly- they don’t have a playground or anything, but there is a grassy area to either side. It is on a busy road though, so watch the little ones and the dogs since cars whiz past frequently."
"Stopped in on a trip from Delaware to OBX. I absolutely love the ambience of this place. Great seating both inside and outside, all with a classic auto theme. The place is dog friendly (definetly for outside seating, not sure about inside). All the staff that I interacted with were very friendly. The beer was decent if not exceptional. It's a fun place to spend an afternoon."
"Had a great first time at this brewery. Nick, bartender , was very personable and even with many people in the place he remembered my name every time I placed my order. And the food truck tonight (1/30/20) was 'Taste of Texas' and the had really good food. Had a 'Texas twinky' which was a jalapeno stiffed with cheese wrapped in sausage and wrapped in bacon then glazed in blackberry jalapeno sauce. Very good."
