"This place is disgusting. I haven’t been in a year because they don’t let parents up top and last year when we went my son got lost up top for a long time and they wouldn’t let us up there. The price to get in has almost doubled! I was so shocked when she told me the total. What has it doubled for?! The ground is disgusting. The mats are black. Half of the machines in the ball room don’t even work. I’m so disappointed in this place. It’s completely gone down hill."
"I had my grandsons 1st birthday party at FunVille on 12/10. I reserved a room for 13 kids, 3 pitchers of drinks & 5 pizzas. The room from 430-630. They were supposed to supply all the plates n stuff for all the kids. However they only supplied half the plates. When they brought the 1st pizza out about 515. They informed me that they ran out of dough so they could only give us 2 of the 3 pizzas. They didn’t bring the last 2 pizzas out until about 530. When they brought those out they told us we had an hr left in the room. So we had to rush eating. Then when it was time to cut the cake. I had to find the hostess to get the candle they provided and a knife. I had to serve the pizza and cake. In which we were informed That the hostess would do all of this but she was never around. Her attitude was horrible. I asked to speak to management and never got to. I paid about $430 for all of this. In which I feel because of the customer service that was received was not worth it. I will not be going back nor recommending the Chesapeake location. I have heard the VA beach is 10 times better."
"Called to book my party about 2 months ago when a man over the phone told me he would reserve out date for the party and that I could just come in and pay. I came in to find out that wasn’t the case. So the day I went in, I paid for my party and then was able to save a date for our party. I let them know I was expecting about 15-20 kids . I was told that wasn’t a problem as I would just pay for the additional kids and also that I signed up on time to get tokens for our party. Come the day of my party, my guests were not being allowed in after the 10 th guest even though I provided the staff of a finial guest list which was over 10 people. I went to ask the staff why they weren’t letting anymore of our guests in and she said because I didn’t tell her I was expecting more then 10 people as she was holding on to my guest list that was clearly numbered. With attitude , she said I should have let her know like I am supposed to know who she is. Her two coworkers (1 was our party host and the other was the women who took our reservation who both knew my count was over 10) stood behind her the entire time and said nothing. The party host then didn’t trust my final count as I showed her on my list who was all there. She physically asked each child as they ate pizza for their name and made her own list that way. When I asked for the tokens , I was told it was only for the parties before October even though we signed up before October, we wouldn’t be able to get any. The lack of communication was just very uncomfortable as I felt I needed to be confrontational to have a decent party. This was definitely our last party there."
"This was my second visit to this facility. They have a toddler area, and 2 areas where the older kids can play. While your kids are playing, you can sit and watch them, or even join them if you would like. I didn’t have any of the food because of health reasons, but my kids enjoyed the pizza. It was SUPER cheesy. You can also play games and get prizes after you earn tickets (that load on the card) from playing those games. Overall, it’s a nice place to bring your kids. Staff was also professional and nice!"
"Boom, nailed it! This is a great indoor play area. Many levels of fun for kids of all ages. The art was kid appropriate and a lot of fun at the same time. The lplay area for toddlers was large and well thought out with many safe things to keep kids busy. My son loved it. A massive multi level play area for kids older than toddlers up to maybe 10. More than enough to physically activities. Not to mention bumper cars and a walkway above it for older kids to play on. Staff was polite from the time we entered until we left. The lady that was in the play area with the kids was very attentive to the entire play area. My wife and I were both impressed with her. This location is everything the one at the beach isn’t but wants to be. We drove 30 minutes to check it out and were glad we did. My son loves it here. I’m sure we’ll be back soon and often. The only thing that I think needs improvement is the very massive and very slippery floor. You have to use socks to play in the play areas. Kids generally just leave the shoes off and run around. I saw at least 4 events where people almost fell. Some roll on garage style paint with grip would be a lot of help. It’s just as easy to mop as the slick floor and could save someone from getting hurt. That aside it was great! 5stars!"
