"I made an appointment with the geek squad to have my iPhone repaired. I had to drive 45 minutes to get there because it was the closest location with an available appointment. We get there and stand in line for 30 mins only to be told there is no tech there today. Why make an appointment if you don’t have a technician? If the tech was out why not cancel the appointment? I wasted hours for nothing."

"Geek Squad is literally incapable of solving a very simple issue with my desktop and they removed the io shield on my motherboard and threw it away and basically told me good luck. Also they did not fix the issue with my computer at all."

"I recently made an appointment to get my iPhone repaired for a manufacturer issue dealing with the speaker. After talking to the associate and explaining the issue he said it would cost me $280 and it wouldn’t be ready until the next day.He states if there was recall it would have popped up on his computer. He also told me that I would have purchase a new battery for $89 or they couldn’t fix the speaker as apple doesn’t like them to keep opening the phone for repairs. He did tell me since I pay for insurance on my phone I should go through them. This didn’t feel right so I called apple support who said my phone should qualify for the free repair. They suggested I go to to the actual Apple Store and have them take a look at it. The agent made me an appointment at the Apple Store. The Apple Store fixed my phone and I was able to get the repair free of cost and it only took an hour and I wasn’t required to get a new battery. I feel like all it took was simple research. I almost got hit over the head $360 for a repair that was suppose to be free. I just wanted to warn anyone else that might have the same issue!!!"

"I bought a new modem/router from Best Buy and had the Geek Squad from the Virginia Beach location, come install the unit. I was greeted at the door by Agent Pulley. His friendly and caring attitude made me feel most comfortable inviting him into my home. He had a genuine concern to make sure the unit was installed properly and that all of my devices were connected and operating correctly. His entire visit was to make sure that I was completely satisfied. Geek Squad should be very proud to have this man represent their company. A+++++"

"I had asked to have a TV mounted and 4 individual small wireless speakers. On the first day when geek squad arrived the said that the home theater system was not a soundbar and they didn’t have time and left. They then attempted to change me almost $600 for a $100 service if they had completed both jobs because we had total tech so it was $50 per job which I had to call and fix. A week later I had rescheduled another group and they showed up saying a bunch of things that didn’t make sense. Saying they needed a shelf for then, that they needed a power outlet behind them, and basically tried to give me a bunch of excuses why not to do the simple job and again left after doing nothing. I then went and got some wall anchor screws like it says in the instructions and completed the job myself in 20 minutes. I only offered to pay for the service because in honest I was being lazy. But if I could go back now I would have never gotten the geek squad membership they are advertising services they cannot complete and If someone was to ask for actual speakers they aren’t wireless then I would say they have no chance. I posted pictures just to show the job they were not capable of completing"
