"If you’re looking for a small secular private school, EFCA may be a good fit. We were looking for an emphasis on the “Christian” part but were very disappointed in most areas. We did meet a few people who genuinely love the Lord, but they weren’t able to influence the culture enough to make a difference."
"They say actions speak louder than words and last night said a lot. I decided to go to the PIAA Division 10 basketball finals between EFCA and Mercer. From a christian academy one would have expected positive leadership, sportsmanship and values that would be conveyed by the staff to the students. Instead, what I saw was a basketball coach acting like a lunatic, even berating individual players in front of his teammates. This type of behavior carried to his coaches and the team's supporters. There was little, if any sportsmanship, starting with one of the EFCA players attempting to provoke a confrontation during a timeout in the 1st quarter with two Mercer players. Later, in what slightly less than a mugging, and up by 14 points, a EFCA player took a path injuring a Mercer player attempting a layup. If this type of leadership is considered acceptable to the EFCA administration then its a sad day for the school. Administration, I guess the "Owner", has replied to other comments and I would be interested in their opinion if such behavior is considered acceptable. Vince Lombardi once said "winning isn't the only thing, it's everything" but is what occurred during the game the type of values this school is instilling on its students via its staff?"
"Great school that not only teaches children their school work but also instills Christian values & morals, the love of God, Jesus and their fellow man."
"I've got a friend who studies abroad here. The school was nice, there are a lot of activities you can attend and overall, she had a great experience here at EFCA"
"A great school with a great mission."
