"I’ve been here for 4 months so far and I’m more than happy I picked living here. You can’t beat the location and the staff are there for you way beyond just signing the lease. Any time I’ve had maintenance issues, the team- Nasir and Darwon, have been very quick, respectful, and always solve the issue!"
"I cannot express enough how great the maintenance staff is at Lex and Leo properties. I’ve lived in multiple apartments, but I’ve never seen someone as responsive and helpful as Nakisha Long. The maintenance staff is wonderful, but Nakisha Long is really the engine behind the operation. She always responds to emails promptly, and she is always patient, kind, and helpful. She doesn’t belittle tenants, is always joyful, and is quick to find an effective solution. Between her leadership, the thorough maintenance staff, and the kind front desk staff there isn’t anything to complain about."
"Amazing apartment complex to live in DC. The view from rooftop stole my heart in the first look. Great amenities, helpful staff members and all daily purpose needs nearby makes this the best for me. Location is a plus with metro station right downstairs, Wharf at just 5 mins walking distance, and National mall at 15 mins running distance for morning/evening runs."
"My family and I love Leo at the Waterfront. The common areas are kept very clean and well-maintained. All of the staff are friendly and diligent to help. Beautiful location to call home!"
"I’ve been living in Lex for just for one month, and in this time: 1. A woman was found stabbed and bleeding in a hallway 2. Elevators are constantly down. The freight elevator is down often, causing issues for people moving in and ADA/health hazards. More than thrice, all elevators have been down. One elevator has never worked. Leasing office says it’ll be fixed in Nov but no one believes it - as they said it’ll be fixed multiple times throughout this year (which never happened) 3. It took a month to get all issues in my apartment resolved (damaged floors, cabinets, etc.). I had to frequently follow up and harass management to get simple things fixed. If you are moving in, get in writing that they will fix everything prior to moving it. 4. Common areas have been dirty/unkept 5. Fire alarms go off unnecessarily and are quite disturbing 6. The leasing staff misled me regarding building safety and elevator issues - I wouldn’t trust what they say If you are considering moving into Lex, I’d leave this as your last choice. Management claims improvements are coming, and if they do, I’d be glad to update my review. A few of concierge staff (Jada), the location, and move in discounts are the only redeeming factors of living here. Just look at other google reviews."
