"!! DO NOT RENT HERE !! RATS EVERYWHERE : infestation and rat droppings litter that hallways and apt on the first 4 floors ROACHES WHILE YOU SLEEP : if you take an apt below the 8th floor, roaches will crawl ALL OVER YOU when you sleep! We have to leave a light on at night to prevent the creepy crawlers from roaming on our legs, face and arms DOG POOP AND URINE : dogs from multiple bldgs use the front entrance of Yale West to pee and poop. Owners are not required to clean up because they don’t live here. It reeks of poop every morning. It reeks of urine every night. Recent management changes (from Bozzuto to Elme) have seen a dramatic decrease in resident services. Maintenance no longer cares (under Bozzuto, residents were able to get instant repair and replacement of defective items ; now, under Elme, maintenance tries “quick and cheap” temporary solutions that require repeated, WEEKLY contact with staff to resolve) !! DO NOT RENT HERE !!"

"The building has gone so far down hill. The management team continues to ignore the community requests for better security and overall quality of their “luxury” apartments. The new company is stealing money from the tenants. We need to check our bills to make sure we aren’t double charged. They are upping rent while violating tenant bill of rights."

"Been living here for about a year. Staff is all amazing, friendly and helpful. They have a ton of great shows and events here and it’s a really nice building. Just went to a comedy show put on by Four Corners Entertainment. I really hope they bring them back for another show!!!"

"Living at Yale West has been great! The location is fantastic, you're across the street from a well stocked Safeway and five minutes from the Mount Vernon metro station. The neighborhood feels safe, even at night, and people living in the building are very pleasant. I really cannot say enough about the staff, they go out of their way to be kind and helpful, answering questions and being extremely patient. The amenities are great, I'm so happy with my apartment. There's a clean gym that's rarely used and an amazing rooftop with great views."
