"I’ve been here 1.5 years but my review can be backed up by any of the longer term residents too (some have lived here 40 years!) Terrible management by Laura Berney & Pollinger Company means persisting security issues, a rundown building with leaking pipes in garages and rats living in abandoned vehicles, trashed hallways with disgusting carpets that i was falsely told would be replaced while first touring this property, constantly broken down machines in the only shared laundry room, and slow responses (if you get any at all) when contacting management about any issue or paperwork! Allow me to share an example. I was attacked by a resident’s dog 5 days ago and informed management immediately. I have yet to hear back on management’s follow up with the owner… Laura Berney said she would ask an employee to verify camera footage. When i contacted said employee 2 whole business days later, they were clueless because Laura did not follow through on what she said. It’s an absolutely astounding lack of concern or regard for resident safety. There’s so much more I could list in terms of problems but the bottom line is it’s not really worth renting here. "Very nice complex to live in. Friendly residents, Great staff who are ready, willing and able to see our needs are met. Management sees we are well taken care of. Maintenance and Cleaning staff go above and beyond for residents. After 4 1/2 years of living here I continue to be impressed. I’ve met resident who has lived here 40 years. Location near Wisconsin Avenue. CVS pharmacy and Giant and Whole Foods grocery stores are 3 blocks away. Complex has in-house cafe, mini grocery store, cleaners or as it is called in DC Valet. Beauty and Barber shop. Large laundry room. Very Impressive"

The building and property are very well maintained. The swimming pool is our favorite part of the property. The lifeguards are great!"
