"Toad from the parking lot Yes, I was on a different spot because I found mine taken and I was super tired (in my defense, I thought I'm parkin on a visitor's spot). And yes, they were not having my updated tag number. I didn't know I need to update it! But really? Calling the towing company when they saw the parking sticker on my window??? They basically didn't figure out (they tried, but couldn't think of a way) to put two and two together and figure out that the X parking sticker belongs to Y apartment number. Really????"

"Please change the air conditioning policy that state the low needs to be greater than 50 degrees or whatever for 7 consecutive days before the AC can turn on. 80-90 degree days suck even when the low is like 49 degrees at 3am for 20 minutes. I’ll change my 2 to a 5 star if I can just have AC and pay whatever the electric bill says. We always seem to be forced to deal with a few months of high temps without AC every year due to this silly policy. Just give people the choice Update: they changed to AC, thank you"

"We lived in this building for 4 years. Overall we think it is a good community with responsible management and maintenance teams. The apartments are old, but slightly lower prices, good locations, and regular maintenance compensate these. The downside parts are mostly about problematic neighbors. Admittedly this is inevitable when living in a large community. Noisy, smoking/marijuana violations, abuse of public places like washing machines/supermarket shopping carts do exist. We had good neighbors most of time. But we also experienced these issues several times. Unfortunately the management team was only able to send out reminder emails. No further investigations or actions. You can only pray the problematic neighbors will move out soon."

"- Maintenance is slow to response. I had to put in three tickets to address mold in my bathroom. It’s been over a week and maintenance still hasn’t come. We’ve had a mold issue in our apartment before and maintenance was also slow to respond. This is a health hazard. - They do a terrible paint job here - Only good thing is rent is affordable and the concierge is nice."

"We’ve been living here for about a year and have really enjoyed it so far. The proximity to downtown and the metro is amazing and we’re only 6 minutes away from 495. There’s a Giant that’s only a short walk away. The amenities are okay, the gym isn’t much but it’s probably the best out of the 3 Blair buildings. It would be nice if we could use our sister property’s (The Pearl) amenities as they have a way nice gym and a rooftop pool and grilling area and it’s physically closer to us than either of the other Blair buildings. We’re located on the top floor and have a balcony so we love being able to sit outside and enjoy the views. All of the neighbors seem nice. Some negatives I’ve noticed. Sometimes maintenance says that they will need to come in for routine maintenance and tell you a specific day but they never show up. This isn’t a big deal for me because I work from home and I also don’t mind them coming in when we’re not at home but I can see it being an issue for some. The move in process was such an ordeal because the only moving carts they have are these two small carts that are flimsy and one is half broken. I’ve seen much better carts at the other Blair properties so I’m not sure why we don’t have those. Overall I would suggest this place to a friend."
