"Unfortunately I am stuck here for 3 nights due to work. 1. Restaurant staff this morning: What do you want? When I asked if they served breakfast, answer: it's $22 and we only have scrambled eggs and bacon. Tonight at 4:59 PM, I asked, are you serving dinner? Answer: It's not 5! Came back a minute later, Answer: What...(annoyed).. I asked are you serving dinner? Answer: All we have is burger and fries. Turned around. Bottom line: Do not stay here...unless you like being treated like a dog."

"I have had to stay at the hotel silver spring while waiting for my apt to be ready. The manager Mr Harris was extremely friendly, and accommodating! The front desk staff was nice and helpful especially Leo! The house keeping staff is amazing! No complaints! Highly recommend!"

"Poor Rooms I booked this hotel to celebrate my daughter’s birthday following the Christmas holiday. We like to make her day special as it is so close to the holiday, a nice getaway is always nice. This year she wanted to stay local and we found the Hotel Silver Spring to be near a few restaurants she wanted to dine at for the day. Check in started off a little rocky as the front desk attendant didn’t seem too pleasant. She wasn’t rude or mean, but from someone who works in the hospitality industry I am used to feeling welcome. This person really seemed to just “do her job” and move the check in line. No big deal, we took our key and went upstairs to get settled in. The instant we opened the door you could feel heat. I am a person who is always cold so for me to feel hot says a lot. We went in and I tried to adjust the temperature to no avail. I called the front desk and the same woman said she would send someone upstairs. The room had to have been 100 degrees. I am not exaggerating. We couldn’t breathe. It got to the point I was taking my clothes off and I finally decided to go back to the front desk and just ask for another room. There was no possible way we were going to wait for a tech to come and assist any longer. We were provided keys to another room with ease. However, although the new room did not have a temperature issue there were visible stains on the couch, holes in one of the lamps, and mold in the bathroom. It was disgusting and not safe. Even the tub looked as if it was not clean. I will not be staying a Hotel Silver Spring again and do not recommend. Pictures attached."

"If you are looking to book a hotel in Silver Spring and you don’t want to pay an arm and a leg for it - this is the one to go with! The staff I talked to were so kind and accommodating. I’m assuming people who said they were being rude must have started something with the staff, but even then they handled an exceptionally rude customer with understanding and empathy. The room I got came with the standard amenities like body wash, a coffee maker, a TV and for the price I felt that everything was good quality."

"My wife and I used the Hotel Silver Spring for our stay during our wedding as well as for our guest room block. We reserved the hotel when it was still a Hilton and was informed that their would be a management change leading up to our stay. The new staff was extremely polite and accommodating with all of our wants and needs. The process of setting up the room block was seamless and whenever we needed additional rooms, they always ensured our block was adjusted to our needs. Their hospitality was exceptional, providing complimentary items, late checkouts, a conference room for our rehearsal, and constantly checking in on us to make sure we were enjoying our stay. I would highly recommend and am sure to visit again in the future!"
