BLVD Flats Apartments 22050 Eastside Drive, Ashburn, VA 20147

"We lived here for a year and it was overall nice. We were the first to live in the apartment so it was obviously clean and never had any issues. Here are some of my complaints: 1st complaint: We were across from the parking garage above the academy (closer to the stairs that light up) and the noise all of the cars made in the early morning took some getting used to, sometimes it felt so loud we thought our windows were open. 2nd complaint: The garage door that was supposed to secure the resident parking levels from the public stopped working a month into living here and it was never fixed so they just kept it open permanently, which was a bummer because that was something we liked and made us feel okay about parking in a garage that is also open to the public. 3rd complaint: The elevator didn't require a fob for months at a time and if you made it in the building you could go to any floor, one time a homeless person came knocking on our door (5th floor) at 11pm asking for blankets in a supposed "secure building" then we saw her hop right back in to the elevator lol.... never really felt 100% safe after that. The homeless presence definitely went up as soon as the metro opened, which the building doesn't have any fault in, but just keep that in mind. Final and biggest complaint: It's really complicated to get to most of the amenities if you live in the Flats building. We didn't notice before moving in because when you take the tour, their fob opens everything and that's not the case when you use your own... you have to walk outside to get to the gym, pool, and package room which is a hike imo. To end on a good note- we did like living here for the most part and if none of the complaints above are deal breakers, then I think you will too."
