"Literally the whole parking lot is a tow zone if you do not live at the BLVD. Must be nice being a rich Property owner basically buying up property to make everyone's life harder. It isn't like they even take care of their residence by the looks of it. Whoever this is: you are garbage."
"I lived here for 2 and half years, the apartment complex is very nice and I love how the apartment are indoors but is not worth the price you pay unless you really take advantage of all the amenities they to offer. I also see alot of reviews of roaches or bugs in the apartment, I have not experienced any of that in my time here. I love how quick maintenance is to come take care of your requests and if youre not home they will leave a note letting you know they came by and if they were able to fix it or not. Debbie from the leasing office is wonderful, super friendly and helpful, offers actual solutions to the problem(s), before Debbie I never wanted to deal with the leasing office, no one was ever really any help, it was always ok what's your name ok well check on it, and nothing. Lori was also very helpful when I moved in 2 years ago. I have a few things I don't like about the apartment complex. One would be the fire alarms in your apartment unit are way to sensitive, you can barley even cook food,or use your oven past a particular temperature, or use the self-cleaning mode your oven has without it setting off your fire alarms and there's nothing that can be done because "that's just how they are" I've been told. Also speaking of fire alarms, sometimes the buildings entire fire alarm system will go off for no reason, and the leasing office won't send out an email with an explanation of what caused the alarm to go off, they used to do this, and it was great, but now we aren't offered any explanation and left wondering did something actually happen or is just a false alarm. Trash chutes are always packed full, and then they go and send out an email to not leave trash bags on the floor of the trash rooms, but aren't seeming to realize that's happened because people literally can not use the trash chutes. Another downside for dog owners is, you're very limited where your dog can go to the bathroom, they cant go the bathroom on the mulch or landscaping around the complex, a guy literally stormed out of his apartment to race to the side door to yell at me about one of my dogs who peed on the mulch, like sorry my dog hasn't been outside in 8 hours and you live in next to the lobby front doors, I do try my best to not let them use the bathroom on the landscaping, I would love it if this location had an indoor dog park just like the Reston BLVD. The pool in the summer, sometimes it will randomly be closed cause they don't have a lifeguard, I don't understand how you can't have a life gaurd are they only hiring one or two people? My last thing I don't like is that they got a coffee machine and it's supposed to be 24/7, but they leave it in the walk way to the leasing office, so any time the leasing office is closed you can not use the coffee maker, because the doors to the leasing office are closed and locked, and you can't open the door with your own keyfob, if it's supposed to 24/7 not only when the leasing office is opened."
"ZERO respect to customer; If possible I will give -5 stars; i mean i will take 5 stars from them. I do not have time to write the details again, i just paste here the email i have sent them. They forced us to live like Misérables for 6 years with very very very old appliances while paying hell of monthly money more than 2000 usd/month. While taking money, they want you to be very generous but while giving service for the money they behave very stingy. Worst thing was cockroaches they bring to flat with very old replacement refrigerator from their storage. And on top of everything; they do not listen to complaints of customers, they think that whatever the reviews here, there will be always people ready to rent in any conditions they offer. I was expecting that they will little bit listen my complaints and do sth for an excuse however whatever i have told has entered from one ear and left from the other one. And on top of it; they are now not giving my deposit, instead they are trying to charge me for some small straches in flat entrance and most of them were there before we moved in, do you know how much they want? 1300 usd as if i am collecting this money from street. I will tell about these truths wherever and whenever I find a chance. `Hi Ayala, Miguel from maintenance team told that little things on wall for curtains in one room needs patches and we will do that tomorrow; other than that all is clear. He told about small scratches at kitchen floor; we will also clean kitchen floor tomorrow and the rest he said he will solve himself with the team. We will return the keys before 6 pm on Tuesday 19th September. We are aiming for full refund of the deposit here. And as discussed with Miguel and with you on Friday, about appliances we were extremely but extremely dissatisfied. I have complained around 30 minutes to each of you and if my wife was there I am sure she would complain for a few hours. We spend there 6 years and last few months were paying 2.600 usd/month a very very good amount of money; and before that around 2000 usd/month but about appliances we were living like Misérables. Ok, flat is big, has nice windows and apartment complex has good amenities outside, leasing office and maintenance team personnel are all very helpful and but about dish washer, washing machine and refrigerator; we had terrible experience. We know that it is not in hands of people working at maintenance team or leasing office and decided by higher management but whatever we asked were all ignored. From first months of our stay till the end; we asked many times to replace washing machine and dish washer but all ignored, guys come and check and see it is working and then leave. But if sth is working it does not mean all is ok. Miguel also saw himself at our final check; dish washer is not heating more than 40 degree Celsius, not drying up the dishes and so not sanitizing and not cleaning anything at all, inside dish washer becomes black in some areas. Washing machine stops in the middle of each cycle and we need to run again and sometimes pray that it can conclude after 4-5 repeated cycles. And at the end not cleaning well enough. I have sent emails to Comstock higher management putting other people in cc: but all emails, all service requests were ignored. Normally if a customer complains; at first time things need to be taken serious and these things are replaced but nope, Comstock management was very mean about this. Our last complaint was around 4 months ago and that time I told our maintenance guy that I am sure they will not replace it and I am very tired to complain and since we are leaving I will not complain anymore. Ha, I should not forget about refrigerator. Around 3 years ago our refrigerator was broken, good that they replaced it but of course not with a new one; an old one from storage and that one brought cockroaches to our flat; we had to call pest control twice for that.`"
"A VERY unsafe community, unkept common areas, inconsistent and ineffective customer service. I don’t feel safe and comfortable using the gym or walking my animal after 9/10 pm. Example of safety: only the newer buildings have cameras. The doors are often left open or break often. I ran into an unhomed man very early morning within a feet outside my apartment door, the leasing office did not care and the police came HOURS later. Expect to pay for dry cleaning as their washers and dryers are old and will damage your clothing and linens. No apartment updates are available even at an added cost. High rent increases. Lots of staff turnover. Comstock spends most of its money on the newer building and even that smells like sewer, is unwelcoming, and the amenities it houses are consistently breaking and non-operable. The hallways and trash rooms of the Commons as they call the older buildings are not cleaned daily. So the halls will wreak off and on. Glass in the parking lot. Trash is pulled to the lobbies often causing a horrible lingering smell to leave and come home to. Please forgo asking to speak with the Property Manager, you’ll never be given their contact information. You’ll only be given the opportunity to speak with Belquis. And that is usually to provide you with false, misleading, and unhelpful assistance. Likewise for the leasing office. Don’t leave a message with the leasing office (one male in particular, not sure if his name yet) as it can take days to get a reply and that is usually after you call back or email. And an unhelpful answer. Maintenance is I guess doing their best considering the management they are under and company that runs the community. Expect to have a lot of packages go missing. I’m saddened to see this community go downhill. It used to be the best in Ashburn. That’s why I initially chose to live here. Definitely not in the last few years and it’s only getting worse due to the current management and metro being added."
"You, the resident, are responsible for terminating electric. I'm telling you this because it's very easy to miss the two sentences in the move out papers, and none of the staff thought to verbally tell me any of the times I asked. I had to pay a $110.55 power bill for 26 days that I didn't live in the unit. Other than that it's fine. The people who work there try to help often, but succeed at about the rate you'd expect from a 4 star review. They chose to not help with the power bill, for example. Also, the best way to get noticed is post these reviews."
