"The bed I stayed in had bed bugs and when I went down to change rooms the lady was rude and resistant to give me a new room. She said she never heard of bed bugs before and I had to show her a video in order to get a new room. They still made me pay for the detergent and washing machines to rid the bed bugs. Also the pool was dirty. Overall bad hotel"
"The shower is a precarious. The floor is pitched down to the center of the tub . There is a much needed hand rail but it is in s bad spot. If you are washing your hair and bring your arms down you could very easily jam your arm into it. The shower is very narrow. I have a cold and I wanted some tea. The options were decaf or caffeinated. I pulled one tissue out of the box and two came out and there was no more. These all seem to me to be very small issues that would take minimal money to fix."
"We stayed on our way south for Thanksgiving, we stayed here as the proximity to 95 was easy. The hotel was absolutely filthy, food on the floor, stains on the carpet. I would not allow my child to walk on the carpet w/o shoes on. I went to use the the in-room fridge only to see that it didn't work. I went down to ask if they could tell me how to fix it and the girl behind the desk and the maintenance man both just looked at me and said IDK. "They never really work that well" I had my daughter who wanted to use the pool as well as my father the hot tub. However, we walked in the pool room to find filthy water in both. There was also a family with a speaker blaring music so loud and offensive to pretty much anyone and yes, I have teenagers!! Another family also walked right in and right back out. In the pool was a young baby with a diaper on and no, not a swimming one. The entire experience was an absolute waste of money since we also didn't get any sleep as the doors and walls were paper-thin. I took the time to write a review and the only response I received was from a Bria Cody and that exact response "we will be remodeling soon and that will hopefully address any issues you had!! This has now been our second bad experience with a Hampton Inn in the last 6 months. I believe they're independently owned and operated and it shows!! So NO I WOULDN'T stay here EVER again. It's filthy, the employees could care less about absolutely anything and to top it off we are loyal Hilton members. It's time to change to another hotel brand"
"We have stayed at this hotel numerous times but it’s gotten so gross. This visit will be our last. We pulled in from 12 hours on the road and my husband walked in to see if they had rooms. He asked for 2 beds since he is recovering from a cold and wanted to not expose me. They told him there were none available but upsold him on a king. We took it because this is a good place to stop and we had already picked up sandwiches in the car. Our 15 lb dog was with us and has always been on our trips to this hotel. There was some event at the hotel which was a lot of commotion, opening and closing of doors and elevators going non stop. We were one room off the elevator and this caused our dog to bark. The front desk called and said they had a complaint on him. We were asked to sign a paper and pay 50 dollars. We had already been up charged 50 dollars over advertised price on the website and my husband is 66 and an honors member worthy of a discount. We never argued. Also the charge for the dog was never really a warning about the dog and noise but just about the fee. Meanwhile we were experiencing just as much noise and disturbance along with the group gathered outside the door by our car smoking cigarettes and weed each time we had to leave the room for something. The room was disgusting as noted in the pics. Ladybug infestation, AC running but not cooling the room, and the tub had large stains. My socks were black from walking on the carpets. I don’t think it’s fair to charge for a dog when the room is not clean to start and invested with lady bugs. And when we left at 7 am there were 2 rooms visible on the first floor with 2 beds clearly available. Exactly what we asked for. The 200 dollar gross night in this hotel is not worth it. Gross try one of the newer hotels on the other side of 95."
"Right off I-95 which was very convenient during our road trip. Friendly at the front desk, felt very welcomed. Dog friendly which was great and that’s why we picked this hotel. I liked the digital key for the room. The room did have a bit of a funny smell to it.. like a cleaning agent maybe? Bed was comfy and water pressure was good. Otherwise was fine for an overnight stay and would stay here again."
