Red Roof Inn Fredericksburg North

"Despite a remote and nearly hidden location, this inn is a gem. It is well maintained and comfortable. The most important part of my review, however, is the performance of the hotel's staff. Their knowledgable and friendly service makes my numerous stays welcome respite. The housekeeping staff are helpful, gracious, and friendly. I wish to also praise the front desk staff in particular Vijay in the evening and Eric in the morning. Both display easy competence, never failing to assist with every request. Vijay, especially, has assisted with a variety of needs, with speed, knowledge, and effectiveness - always with an assured demeaner and easy smile. These people have made my repeated stays at the Fredericksburg North RRI, a welcome stop on my schedule for nearly three years. I commend and salute them. With gratitude. Thank you, Jim Conlon"

"When I first walked in, I thought I walked into a slaughter house. The walls were stained with tiny marks of blood and other nasty, displeasing sights. I had to personally clean the floors because they were dusty and the staff refused to give service at the moment. I felt VERY uncomfortable talking to the guy at the front desk, the Indian guy with black hair and a rounded figure, we had an unnecessary dispute because of how disrespectful he acted for absolutely no reason. If your coming to this place, leave your kids at grannies house. If grannies dead, then don't even bother staying because they will yell at your kids just for LITTLE inconveniences, your children can't even play without the manager always on their necks. The only approachable and friendly people that actually work here are the Hispanic couple, they are half the reason I even decided to stay. There's a cockroach infestation and the place stinks. This place should be used as a setting for a horror movie someday. With all the love, Thank you. That one Indian manager-who tries to sound black so bad- is the whole reason for my leave. He's rude and completely unprofessional. The end."

"I have been staying with the Red Roof Inn, Fredericksburg North, VA almost every month for a couple of years. I’ve always booked through a different website until today when the very lovely, nice and helpful “Vijay” checked me in and helped me with downloading the app. By using the other site I was paying at least $16.00 plus tax more per night than if I had used the Red Roof app! I have always been treated wonderfully by all staff. The rooms are quite nice and comfortable. I believe you actually get more for your money than any other local hotel. Red Roof North is far nicer in every way than the RR South location. I will continue to stay at this location every month when I am in town. Thank you so much to Vijay and to Sil, a former staff member who is no longer with the company but always treated me wonderfully with a huge smile and a cold bottled water. Lovely, lovely people!"

"Wasn’t even in the room for 5 minutes and roaches were seen crawling around. German roaches at that, the worst infesting kind. Went down to the office, they offered to switch rooms. Me and the hubby refused, for obvious reasons. What’s the chances of only one room having roaches? No thanks. Refused to give us our money back due to the hotel being booked through Hotwire. Wasted about 2 hours of our weekend, due to an unsanitary hotel. Not to mention, the bed had blood and dirt and crumbs all over it, it was just disgusting. They also told me I was lying about the roaches, after showing them pictures. If you also look through some of the other reviews, you’ll see that roaches are a problem here. Beware."

"One of the best hotels I’ve stayed. The service is tremendous and I’d recommend anybody. The manager VD is the BEST. Room service is phenomenal. My stay there is the best. Makes me feel like I am home. Keep up the great work and neatness."
