Country Inn & Suites by Radisson, Fredericksburg, VA

"It's not bad, but it's not good. The microwave and thermostat in my room didn't work. The sign out front advertises an indoor pool, but there's a sign at the front desk that it is closed indefinitely. As far as I can tell, none of the cardio equipment in the fitness center works correctly. Room keeping did not stop by on my third night. That said, the people working the front desk were friendly, my room was otherwise comfortable, and breakfast was decent. I would say this is a great two-star stay (and priced to match), meaning it's safe and comfortable place to stay, but doesn't have much in the way of amenities."

"Stayed here for 4 days, room service didn’t come once although we called a day in advance and asked them to come the next day. Bathroom doesn’t have any fan so the whole room is humid. Towels and pillow covers had hair on them. Key card for the room broke 3 times over the stay. The pool was completely contaminated with mold and the “hot tub” was ice cold. The gym only has four machines and two of them are broken."

"Rooms were a little run down. Front desk was good, but was unattended for 20+ minutes one night. Cleaning service was not polite, but helped us in a pinch. I'll stay at a different hotel if I'm back anytime soon. Breakfast was great!!!"

"Location is rated low because we could easily pass by it. There is no entrance off the street. But once you know how to get there it is fine. Rooms are clean and service is good even late at night. The hotel is old and everything is not new but I will stay there again happily."

"The breakfast was delicious. I made it down late and they were still serving it. Front desk was great. The room felt comfortable. I will say it gave me kind of like the movie shining feeling. Other than that it was still good. The only thing that was wrong in my whole stay was the soda machine took my money but the front desk refunded is in cash."
