"We had asked for an early check in which was greeted with if there is room available. That is no big deal as it happens. Well they told us come back at 2:30 and we could go into our room. The guy takes our luggage but hands me a torn piece of paper with random numbers and letters. 2:30 roles around and room is not ready and we were told once the room was ready a person would come get us. Well no one came to get us, so after there posted check in time we went and tried to check in. We checked in which was great as 2 new people helped us. I gave them the paper for our luggage and they responded what the heck is this we have special tickets for this why would he give you this paper. We went into our room and there was trash and crumbs all over. Then we looked to right and bed is not made and towels show signs of use. They gave us another room on the 5th floor which again was nice. However, the A/C in our room was not working and the room was 89 degrees. Needless to say we had tough time sleeping because it was hot and we had to open the window facing DuPont Circle which was extremely loud and bright. I am happy we were only there for 2 days because we pretty much couldn’t sleep for the reasons listed above and the bed and pillow they give you are uncomfortable. The service was good as they did try to help but overall would be very hesitant to recommend to anyone."

"You get what you pay for - this is definitely a cheaper option right on Dupont Circle. It took 45 minutes to check in being sent to two different rooms still being cleaned. The parking "right around the corner" was full so next nearest was two blocks away. The A/C took 4hrs to lower temp 1 degree. The safe was already locked; front desk said "try 4444" didn't work; so no safe. No phone in the room to call front desk. The included "free breakfast" was not provided due to "insufficient inventory" and only would have been pastries they say. There is a great patisserie... two blocks away. The 2nd floor hosts events so be prepared."

"Used as service apartment for a year, amenities seem fine and the common areas are always clean. Free food included dinner, although nothing super fancy but decent. The studio apartment is not too tide with everything needed included. People who work there were nice, but it is pricy. There are a lot of students staying long term because of the universities nearby."

"Basement-level room that was outdated, smelled, the bathroom floor was sticky. Lacked almost all basic amenities. Noise level was terrible, you can hear through the walls and ceiling. Bar was closed on a Saturday (missing bartender?). Didn't try the breakfast but some describe it as the worst they've ever had. It's convenient but there is no parking what so ever, even to unload your luggage. It felt like staying at someone's poorly kept basement Airbnb. Wouldn't recommend or stay there again."
