"Purchased crablegs last night from the seafood counter. Had them seasoned and steamed in store. Got home, and when I opened the bag, there was a strong ammonia smell. The crabs and inside the bag reeked of chemicals. I'm not sure if they were trying to kill us on purpose or whether the bags or steamer was recently cleaned and someone made a mistake. Ammonia is a distinct smell that is undeniable. Needless to say, I stopped eating and will never patronize this location again."

"Awful customer service. There are always people standing around talking but when you need help at the self check out line.... no one seems to be available. The cashiers look miserable and never greet you with a "hello", not even a smile."

"Terrible service. Ordered curbside for 6pm. At 5:50pm, I get a text that it's delayed. At 7pm, I arrive. The curbside number listed on the sign doesn't work. I called the store and they hung up the phone when I told them I was picking up the order. After waiting an hour and finally getting through, the ladies at the pickup department tried to find my order but the system wouldn't let them access anything on the order itself. They couldn't see the items or cancel the order. These ladies jotted down the items we ordered via phone and ran to grab our items. I didn't catch their names but they deserve recognition for their efforts and troubleshooting the issue. Five stars for the ladies in pickup but one star for Safeway. Safeway - please get your technology in order so as to not make your employees' jobs harder than it should be."

"Haven't been to Safeway for years, but I didn't expect this. Their website on Google maps shows 30 packs of Coors for ~ $22. They didn't even have 12 packs of cans. I grabbed a 12 pack of Yuengling and asked the employee at checkout about the Coors. First she said she didn't understand me, then said in perfect English that I should speak to the manager. I get it. She doesn't want to get involved with the store's inaccurate advertisements, but the no understandee is annoying. Guess I will just stick with Wegmans."
