"This the worst managed of any local HT and has been for many years. There are never enough cashiers on duty so I only go to this one if I'm driving nearby and need something. All of the other Harris Teeters are very well managed; why has this one been a problem for at least 10 years?"

"I was going to let this one slide. But I can’t. The original problem created so many lingering problems that I’ll probably never shop here again. Let this serve as a cautionary tale. My pregnant self was craving snow crab legs for Christmas dinner. I worked that whole Christmas Eve weekend, so I decided to order online and pickup at the store. When I got to the pickup area, the young lady picked up the paper bag with the snow crab legs and placed it in my car. As she did this, the crab water, which had collected inside the single bag(which had a hole in it) poured out from the bottom of the bag and down my interior car door and all on the carpet where she placed it. I immediately grabbed my frozen food bags and placed it inside there so the liquid could collect in my bag instead of my car floor. The whole ride home i rode with the windows down gagging because the smell was so strong. By the time I got home the paper bag was saturated along with my other cardboard packaged purchases. The bag broke and my glass items broke. I had lost my cravings for the crab legs because of the odor and put them in my freezer after rebagging them. My new car smells like fish died inside. So does my freezer and consequently my fridge. The smell seeped everywhere. This incident happene 12/23. It’s 12/26 and I’m absolutely sickened by my heightened smell of those crab legs. I have to have my car professionally cleaned. Take everything out my fridge and freezer to clean it and try to get the smell out of everything. All of this over a $40 bag of crab legs that was bagged in the poorest of ways from my “personal shopper”. What a nightmare. I paid for my groceries, also paid a fee to pick them up, only for it to cost me over a hundred dollars to throw out saturated foods and to have my car cleaned. Whoever shopped and bagged my order, and saw the trail of liquids leaking to my car window…..SHAME ON YOU"

"I ordered 30 sub sandwiches for a picnic/party and the deli department at HT Barcroft did an excellent job! Their deli person was polite and listened and went over my order with me to be sure it was all correct. The order was fresh, accurate and ready to pick up on time. The sandwiches were delicious. Great deal on freshly made sub sandwiches, definitely recommend for walk-in sandwiches or order ahead and pick-up like I did."

"Absolutely unprofessional to see an employee exploding on someone in the store as soon as we walked it! Toxic and uninviting atmosphere for our first visit to a new grocery store in a new state! The employee was blocked off from the other person by another employee and then was allowed to continue working through the store! Absolutely not professional and the management and employee should be removed! This shouldn’t be the way the company wants to have the public view them. We will be finding a different grocery store after that nonsense!!!!"

"I shop at this store because it is close by my house, but it really needs improvements. There is a man that collects the carts, and he is always walking around talking strangely to people and I even saw him throwing up right outside the store entrance one time, when someone asked him what’s was going on, he said he drank too much last night. I understand the supply chain issues, but they really do not stock their shelves well at all. I have gone in there several times and would ask about an item that wasn’t stocked and was told so many excuses why they didn’t have it, the truck didn’t come in, manager was sick etc. Nice store just needs a few improvements."
