"Best Italian in the DC area. RPM who? Don’t know her. Also idk why Google says this place is ‘casual’ don’t be fooled by its unassuming location this is a white tablecloth restaurant and attire is definitely business casual. The pasta here is just unbelievable. You can go all the way to Tuscany and you won’t find a dish as good as the pistachio ravioli here. For once in my life I did not order it and was tempted away by the special of the night, the pear risotto, and my pistachio ravioli might have a hot competitor now. The tuna tartar was also a standout favorite at the table. And the desserts were just the right size for a few nibbles to share."

I love this restaurant because the specials are always spectacular and unique and the menu items across the board are delicious and well cooked and there’s always a different dish to try that delivers. The risotto constantly blows me away. It’s often a special and whether it’s mushroom or pancetta, it’s always rich in flavor and the risotto is perfectly cooked. The scallops are also cooked perfectly. The desserts are amazing - the crème brûlée consistently stands out, as does the chocolate mousse. Most recently I tried the stuffed eggplant with ricotta appetizer and was so impressed. The service is also great and the restaurant is nicer but the dress code is only smart casual."

"Il Pizzico is hands down the best Italian restaurant in the area. We had an amazing experience tonight, the staff was incredibly considerate and professional. Our server, Marcus, was especially fantastic. And the food was outstanding, the Tri-tip steak special was possibly the best steak I've ever had, perfect medium, with an incredible wine reduction sauce. Can't recommend this place enough. Make sure to make a reservation, as they're always packed."
