Apna Pizza

"I was very intrigued by the combination of Indian food and pizza. I ordered a large with half the Lamb Seekh Kebab and half Achari Chicken. I would say it was good, but not exactly what I hoped for or expected. To me, it tasted more like a regular pizza and the Indian flavors were pretty minimal. I think the tomato sauce overpowered the other flavors. I think this place has a very good concept and this is my first time trying something like this. I am not sure if I will be back, but given the uniqueness, I would recommend others to give it a try with the expectation that it will be neither the best pizza or best Indian food they have had. Other thoughts are that the guy at the desk was very friendly and helpful, and the price seemed reasonable given what things cost these days."

"We ordered the Paneer Tikka pizza and the Spicy Veggie Deluxe pizza and both were fantastic! Additionally, the individuals behind the counter were professional and friendly. Can’t wait to try the other vegetarian pizzas on their menu!"

"Not the taste you expect for Desi Pizza place, food is over priced and only carries a hint of authentic flavor. For non Desi people it might be fine but if you are looking for real Indian taste it's a no go. Seating capacity is extremely limited and you can only sit outside."

"I understand this place is new so all of the highly rated ratings are family and friends of the owner but here is an unbiased review. I have had pizza in India and this is not very close to it. We ordered 4 medium pizzas and as an Indian person I should be able to taste a difference, but I really couldn't. The only one that tasted different from the rest were the butter chicken pizza. While all of them had some unique takes every pizza was quite busy and bland all things considered. Hopefully since this place is new they will tweak their recipes because the tomato sauce overpowers most of the toppings on their pizzas. Also they need to work on their crust to topping ratio because some of the pizzas just had too much bread, another reason why the toppings get masked. For indian food I expect a certain level of flavor and all of the pizzas were lacking in some flavor, whether it be spice or overall salt. You cannot just make butter chicken and put it on a pizza as it isn't balanced. Another thing is that the images on the website differ from what you can order over the internet which was really annoying because I knew what I wanted from the images and couldn't find the corresponding pizza while checking out. Which leads to the price, which frankly is incredibly inflated. A medium pizza being 20$ is quite crazy considering everything I've written above. I will return to this place maybe in a year and see if anything has changed, but overall not a terrible replacement for Pizza Palace."
