"My podiatrist recommended Dansko clogs. Of course I could have bought them online cheaper, but I think it's important to try them on without all that shipping. The staff was helpful without hovering. I walked away with the right size, ready for work the next day with the right amount of foot support."
"I did not purchase any shoes from there, nor did I ask for any sizes. I found it truly and completely disrespectful the fact that my mother and I came into the store and they were not busy. They stared at us and didn’t greet us. The whole time we were in the shop they did not speak to us or offer us help. Not welcoming and not deserving of their rating."
"Shoe Fly is a flop. I visited this Rockville, MD store yesterday, while visiting the area. The staff of three was rude, unprofessional, and disrespectful. They never greeted us. They never made eye contact with my daughter, not me. They never asked if we needed assistance and when we looking and trying on the sample shoe, no one asked if they could get us specific sizes. If you are wondering, we are Black. So yeah, it was a color thing. Shame on you Shoe Flop!"
"I went to the Rockville store with my friend and aid. I asked for a particular salesman who had helped me in the past was kind, efficient, and professional when the store was Riley's Shoes. I asked the two gentlemen about my issues and the type of shoes I was looking for. I was dismissed almost as soon as I asked. But there was a white elder woman who came behind me and she was helped immediately. Note black and brown people need not to go there"
"I am a real fan of Ritchie Shoes. I have gone to the store for my regular shoes which are orthopedic, and also lovely, for years. My first salesman was named Corey and later John who is still there now at the Congressional Plaza store. This time I called on John at Ritchie for a special service. When I got the first of two hip replacements, it happened that the surgery leg ended up at an inch and a half longer than the non-surgery leg. So for a period of up to three months prior to the next third jury I'm going to need lifts and one of the shoes. So John measured my difference and worked with me until we found the right shoe and gave me all the information so that I would be able to do therapy with matching leg length. He was patient and professional and exacting and his explanation of how this would work. I can just tell you I am so pleased with the results. The person who created the lift in the shoe was absolutely a master craftsman. So basically I couldn't be happier I actually love the shoes and how they look. The price was right the people were great and the product was superior to even anything I expected. Joanne, Gaithersburg"
