"The food was legendary as expected - salty, greasy fish, and crunchy yet fluffy hush puppies. I went at dinner time though, and the staff was completely overwhelmed. They were trying their best to offer great service, but they were tired and cranky from the AC not working in the kitchen and from being understaffed. LJS is not as fast as McDonald's, but the food is worth the wait if you've got time."

"Food was just okay this time. Had to go back up to the counter a couple of times due to order problems. Some food was cool to touch but when they rectified it, the food was definitely hot."

"Well, this is the only fish n chips placed left in the area that I'm aware of since Arthur Treachers closed on Saint Barnabas Rd in Marlow Heights several years ago. This location has a tendency to open and close throughout the year. The food was decent for what it was. I could see the cook talking on her phone while cooking, and the young lady who took my order was also working the the drive-thru as well as the counter it got a little busy and the drive-thru line got back up. It's not my first place to eat. Just stop there for something quick. I think it could use a boost to bring it back to life or more locations in the area. Overall, it's not a bad place for lunch if you are on the go."

"I hadn't been to Long John Silver since it reopened so decided to try it out last night (6/14). I went through the drive-thru since it was only one car ahead of me. The cashier was pleasant while waiting for me to decide on my meal. I settled on the 2 pc fish dinner which comes with one side, 2 hush puppies and a drink. Seemed a little pricey $10.49 from what I remembered, but food is high everywhere. The tray seemed a little light, but food was hot and tasty. I expected an ear of corn, but instead got a container of corn kernels. It was flavorful!"

"Our Food was nice and hot! I love the big shrimps. The Staff was helpful and friendly with great customer service. The restaurant was clean and it’s plenty of parking spaces available in the parking lot."
