Embassy Suites by Hilton Dulles North Loudoun

"Hotel is nice overall. The manager Sarah is AWFUL. Our room had no heat and they were unable to fix it so we had to move to a new floor which was super extra for us. Sarah told me that she would add 5000 to my Hilton honors account but a month later and she hasn’t done that. I was charged for parking that was supposed to be free due to having no physical passes and when I called to talk to Sarah she first told me she was in a meeting and would call me back. Three hours later I called again and left a message. Two hours after that I called again and spoke with Sarah who stated she was leaving at four and would call me before she left. SHE NEVER CALLED. She lacks professionalism and does not maintain her word and truly should not be a manager. I called after Sarah left and the front desk Staff member was able to take off the parking cost. Instead of giving me the run around she could have told me the staff member could take it off for me. Now I have to call again today to get the Hilton honors points from a different manager because Sara is terrible."

"Our stay was basic. Nothing noteworthy. The front desk staff was definitely not warm and inviting. The lady making the omelets was not pleasant to a lady a few people in front of me. The lady asked for fresh cracked eggs and the cook made a face and got frustrated. She said I have a line... That definitely was not the attitude to have. The showers were dated and could use some upgrading. I had the Presidential Suite and this was definitely not worth the additional money. I wouldn't use the hot tub as the jets were very dirty. Last, why does the hotel automatically charge for parking without asking if you need a space? This shouldn't happen."

"The decore at this hotel wasn't bad, just different. Unfortunately there service wasn't the greatest. When asking for a wine glass there response was sorry I can't do that. With no other explanation? I'm not really even sure what that means considering in the pictures of this hotel you can clearly see that there are bottles of wine in the snack area with glasses on top of it. So my wife got to toast in the new year in a plastic cup. Should have known there was something up when arriving at the hotel and seeing a sign at the front desk explaining that there was only one person covering both desks and they were over at the other hotel. Obviously there is a staffing issue at this hotel and I think I know why. Also don't advertise that the presidential rooms come with a jetted tub when there's no way to fill it up with hot water. The water temperatures are reversed with the shower and the tub fill only dispenses freezing Cold water. I believe that this did not break over night so the cleaning/ maintenance staff must know about it and I suppose that they just don't care. I've had many good stays with the Hilton brand up to this point, but this experience just may make me reconsider booking with them in the future."

"Stayed for a night on a working day. The hotel lobby was welcoming and modern. The rooms were quiet and updated. I liked the clean interiors and bedding. The hotel is near quite a bit of restaurants which were open till 9.30 in the night. Great breakfast as with other Embassy suites and the service was good. Dulles was just 15 minutes away at 7.00 AM in the morning. Overall, I liked the hotel and would stay there again."

"I actually slept better here before they renovated last year! The mattress said it's soft but it was horrible. It felt like laying on concrete honestly. The new decorations especially the wallpaper are gaudy but everyone's taste is different. A baby above us could be heard crying early morning but I wasn't sleeping anyway so no biggie. I was planning a fresh waffle and went down after 9am searching for the maker. None to be found had oatmeal and fruit instead. They do offer made to order omelettes. The coffee is not drinkable. It's very strong and bitter, the medium roast one. My husband did not sleep on that mattress either. He can usually sleep anywhere from his Navy submarine days."
