"Extremely poor customer service. We have been customers of Fosters for 15 years. It has gotten terrible over the last 4 years. I got a new liner in the pool that they had installed 15 years ago in September 2020. I’m still waiting on a light that they “cannot get” two years., minor holes that has to be fixed and now the entire corner is coming out. I called 3 weeks ago. They were going to get someone out to me. I left another message today, but I doubt they call back. Mr Foster is a great guy but this business is going way down hill. Update. 2 more phone calls later- promised someone would be out last week, It two weeks later and still no one. I called and left a message AGAIN, I received a call back from the daughter screaming at me it was our winter covers fault. (Never in all my years had a problem with my winter cover) they haven’t been there but that is her diagnosis. When i asked about my light from 2 years ago she hung up on me. The most unprofessional person I possibly have ever dealt with. Again, Mr Foster has been wonderful through the years. A great man overall. Sadly, I will never do business with them again because of poor management and his daughter."
"I can’t say enough good things about Foster Pools. They are so helpful and the staff is knowledgeable. Their prices are also reasonable and the products are better. Anytime I have a problem with my pool or need supplies I can count on them. I had a problem with my water they checked my pool water for me before purchasing, so I did not buy products unnecessarily."
"I wanted to forewarn new prospective pool owners with my experience with FP. In August, 2020, I called Foster Pools to obtain a pool quote. After weeks of waiting, I was given every excuse in the book about why they had not gotten back to me. My neighbor got through on their phones, and set up an appointment, so I asked her if they could assess my property when they were done with hers. From August to today, I have been given the run-around and a pile of excuses: covid, deaths, broken bones, care of elderly, single-parenting duties, miscommunication in relaying messages between their family members — Today, after waiting 10 months, I was told they are not going to provide a quote to me. I was trying to ‘buy local’, and support a family business. I cannot stress how pathetic their customer disservice has been. Maybe their actual construction services are great — we will never know. Do NOT do business with these people if you expect: Legible documents, returned phone calls, integrity in fulfilling promises, or any modicum of reasonable service."
"I needed a pool pump and the young female working there hooked me up with the last pump in stock. She was very knowledgeable about what she was selling. Would recommend going there for any issues you might have with your pool or spa."
"Refused to take back a pool liner I bought two days ago. We were told the reason they had it in stock was it was a return. She said she thought she was never going to get rid of it. We bought it and took it home. We had opened the box, but never got close to using it. It was the wrong size for us too, totally our fault. Tried to return it. Would have accepted part of my money back, or store credit, but they would make no concessions. Ended up getting a liner from another store that ended up being 200 cheaper, so Foster's was obviously over priced anyway, but now what am I supposed to do with an extra liner?"
