"Blankets had burn holes, floor was sticky, carpet had burn holes, room had roaches. Check in was 2 but couldn't check in till 3 because room wasn't ready even though there was barely anyone at the hotel. Hotel had damage to doors. People milling about. Vending machines didn't work. No ash tray in smoking room and front desk didn't have any. Front desk girl was really nice."

"disgusting absolutely disgusting. visibly dirty, mattresses had brown crust in them the chairs had crust on them, even the people working were filthy. Avoid at all costs, I couldn't even bring myself to take pictures of the place because I want to forget that I ever needed to stay here. On top of it being disgusting the microwave plate was too big so didn't rotate almost starting a fire. run, don't walk, away from this place."

"⚠️ Absolutely nauseating.⚠️ I’ve been to MANY hotels and never in my life one this horribly awful. No one should ever experience something this. We saw too many cockroaches to count. Many bedbugs. Bathroom was not cleaned at all. Dirty towels, the shower is yellow and rusty. There’s marks and stains ALL over the sheets, as well as burn holes. The beds had very thin pillows that didn’t fit in their pillow cases, and there’s gunk all over the walls. Nothing worked, and it was very clear that people had been smoking in there even though it was a “non smoking” room. The overall environment of this hotel was disgusting as well. Everything smelt like smoke, lights didn’t work, was in the middle of no where, this hotel looks like it’s been abandoned for years, and the staff just sit around on their phones, and smoke outside on the bench. This hotel deserves 0 stars."

"9-30-2023 @ 2:56 am I am writing this review. I drove from WV to Erie Lake today. I don't see how anyone could stay there and be ok with it. I was so tired and ready to fall asleep, so I stopped here for the night. When I got to the room, the light didn't even work. There were burn marks all over the beds. There were roaches everywhere. Opened the refrigerator, and there were bugs all over it. I immediately got a refund. After that experience, I was wide awake and finished my 160 mile trip home."

"As a former Housekeeping Director in a long term care facility I am completely surprised at the how clean my room was including the bathroom. Linens were clean and soft, no dust on furniture. Even the fire sprinklers were dust free (I was also former Fire Safety Trainer). Carpets older and slightly worn but clean. Quiet room with normal overnight noise. Would book a room here again."
