They even assessed warranty coverage for the failed pump. Unfortunately for me, the warranty had expired but I appreciated their due diligence. "Let me give you the condensed bottom-line review first. Western Pennsylvania is under served with few companies that can service pool auto-covers. I recommend PennCovers. They are professional, responsive and reliable with fair pricing. I originally contacted PennCovers to give me a price to rebuild my 10 year-old CoverStar auto cover. I was quoted a fair price and we scheduled the rebuild for the later in the season. In the meantime my pool pump quit working and I was looking at spending upwards of $600 to replace it. The grandchildren were coming out to swim that weekend and would be very disappointed if the pool was out of commission I called PennCovers and Joe Smarto offered to diagnose the problem. Joe and Chris came out that Saturday morning and were able to get the pump running on a temporary basis and ordered electronic components for a permanent fix. The cost to repair was $150 not the expected $600 price to replace it. The grandchildren were happy and so were the grandparents."
