"I mean this clearly when I say this hotel should not be open to the public and functioning. I don’t understand why the health department has not stepped in to close this place. Personnel is just as bad. There were roaches. Bed bugs. Awful odors. Stains. Anything you can think of."
"This was traumatic. Entering the building smelled like hundreds of dogs were left to rot in the halls. While inspecting the room, I pulled back the shower curtain and a roach fell with a thud. More crawled across the walls everywhere. There was mold. I didn't even check the rest. Choice tried to charge me a cancelation fee. Then price Guage on rooms at a nearby choice brand hotel."
"Absolutely disgusting!!! All of the other reviews are correct. The rooms are full of cockroaches! Looks like it has not been maintained since it was built. I've added some pictures of how the room looked when we got there."
"Dark, dingy and downright filthy from the lobby to the room. Floors littered with weeks worth of crumbs and lint, stairs and hallway. Unbagged dirty linen in several piles in the hall. Crud on walls and room floor. Hair left in shower. All around very poor experience. Please stay away from this place, it's terrible."
"Be warned! Avoid at all costs! You're better off sleeping in your car. When I walked in the entry door, the hall smelled damp and moldy, then I headed toward the room and it started to reek of cat urine! Then, when I found the room, the room across the hall's door opened and some old fat crack head lady in a bra and messed up night dress skirt thing came out with a lawn chair and plopped her self down in the hall like it was her front porch! I glance into the room she came out of since the door was now propped open and this guy in nothing but dirty tighty whiteys is in there smoking crack out of a window and there's a mangy cat in there with them. They had all this stuff, looked like the junk a homeless person has in a shopping cart. The floorboards were torn up in the middle and they had a fan blowing the cat urine smell into the hallway. It was like nothing I've ever seen in a hotel. So, then I open the door to the room (directly in front of smelly druggie cat room) and I find that it also reeks of urine, but with an added flavor of mold. It appears that the room must have been completely underwater at some point in the recent past. Green and black mold on all surfaces. Holes in the blankets. Dirty head stains on the pillow cases. I mean, I read the other reviews, and I really should have listened. But all I wanted was a place to sleep after the concert at Montage mountain, and I didn't think it could possibly be as bad it was. But it is. It is terribly, terribly bad. I went to the front desk and told them there was no way I was staying. They did refund the money, one star for that, but now I have to fight with the internet site I booked through....oh well, I don't even mind losing the money if it comes to that. I probably would have gotten some sort of respiratory disease from breathing in the moldy air if I had stayed longer than 5 minutes."
