"I had a group of people going to the store for a fitting. A few of the people were coming from about an hour away since it’s our only location in VT. Someone from our party showed up to their appointment to an empty closed up store with a handwritten sign on the door saying they had to close. We tried calling the store and it seemed there wasn’t a phone connected because there was no ringing and was just silence on the other end. We got no phone call notifying us that the store was closing early and to reschedule our appointments. We had to quickly call other people in our party to tell them not to waste an hour drive to show up to a closed store. My fiancé was in a wedding last year and they went through Men’s Wearhouse. The woman that fitted him seemed miserable and doesn’t know how to interact with customers. We showed up to pick his rental up before we left town for the wedding to find out his and several other groomsman’s tuxes had not arrived to the store yet. One of the groomsman never got his tux rental and had to rush the day before the wedding to find a rental from somewhere else. We’ve talked to corporate for Men’s Wearhouse and suggested that someone from headquarters needs to check on the store. I knew I should have trusted my gut feeling after our experience last year, but thought I would give it a second chance since there is nothing for tux rentals in our area. Needless to say we canceled our group for Mens Wearhouse for our own wedding and will be going with the only other tux rental company around here."
"Normally I have Sales Persons crawling all over me at a Men's Wearhouse. After waiting my turn to have my son measured the sales person was lackadaisical at best. I was in the market to buy a suit over renting a tux for his prom. Apparently that was not enough to get him to assist us with our process. We spent the next hour looking at suits. After we found the one we wanted we looked online for the same suit. Men's Wearhouse became Best Buy as we tried it on and got it for a fraction of the price online. Thanks for being online's touch point."
"I was very disappointed with my visit to your store today. I brought my 18 year old son in to buy him a suit. When the female consultant approached us, I explained that I wanted to buy a suit that could be for more than one occasion. My son had prom and graduation coming up. She informed us in so many words that he couldn’t wear the same suit to prom as other occasions. Okay….I disagree but I wasn’t going yo quibble. Well she then started to show us suit jackets. The first one cost 350$. I knew that with the pants and shirt it would was out of our price range and told her. She said we wouldn’t be able to get a suit for under 450$. I said then we wouldn’t be able to purchase one. She suggested looking at slacks and coats instead. Then left us. She never offered to show us these less expensive items. She just left. There was no one else in the store, so it’s not like she was busy. So we left. We went to JC Penneys. We bought 2 dress shirts, a suit, shoes and a tie. Maybe the quality of the suit wasn’t as nice as Men’s Warehouse. But at-least we were treated with respect."
"Twice I’ve visited this Men’s Warehouse for some slick wedding outfits. Twice I’ve received impeccable customer service. Most recently, Matt, a complete boss, asked all the right questions and worked with me and my fiancé to put together a matching suit. Personable, funny, knowledgeable. This goes for the other staff as well. Keep it up! Also.. if you need anything tailored you need to give them 2 weeks which is more than reasonable for their year round volume.. I didn’t leave enough time so I was suggested multiple other places around the area to have it done."
"Bought a nice vest for my fiance to wear at our wedding. Man at the counter only acknowledged my fiance luckily a nicely dressed young man helped me earlier and was waiting with some options when I returned with my fiance for him to choose his vest. Team of 4 staff ready to help assist in measurements, fitting, alterations or just finding choices. Our Associate was very helpful and I plan to go back and thank him and acknowledge the store and his help with the other vendors. I only wish we would have bought his whole outfit there. My husband looked amazing and he has this piece for future occasions."
