"Initially we had a really great experience here. Ordering was easy and the prices were decent. However, when there was an issue with my son's glasses they assured us there was nothing wrong and nothing they could do. We ended up having to go somewhere else to have them fixed."
"So the eye doctor there was great. But when I went to make my next appointment I found out that he was no longer there. The lady on the phone was very unprofessional and snippy. Gave no information on how I could get ahold of my records or where the doctor may have transferred to. Got my son a pair of the cheap glasses got 20% off the second pair. Affordable prices for parents that have kids who break their glasses every two seconds."
"TL;DR - HE WAS A GREAT DOC, HOWEVER HE IS NOT THERE ANYMORE AND NOW WALMART AUGUSTA HAS NO OPTICIAN - THEY ONLY SELL GLASSES AND SUNGLASSES NOW. - NO NEW EXAMS. My Initial Experience was Great, my exam went flawlessly and quickly and was on time. I actually stayed a few minutes longer just chatting with the optician as he was such a friendly, funny guy. But I just went in to the office the other day because I had my glasses broken in a car accident and my contacts that he had given me were now too old and worn to be used again. So since I had misplaced the paper with the prescription for what strength contacts and glasses I needed, I decided to just go into the store. Unfortunately they had, very unprofessionally I might add, closed that opticians office saying that he had retired to Florida. This was without so much as a single email, letter or phone-call explaining this to patients, so we are left blowing in the wind without any time to prepare. Now they want me to go find another optician and sign a release to have them sent to them, this is unacceptable to me as my exam with doctor sleeper was very recent and I have no insurance, there is no way I can afford a pointless opticians appointment just to get a few measly numbers! I'm still waiting for him to get back to me now. So we will see how it goes. Until then, I get to continue to have my coworkers make fun of me because I have to sit 9 inches from the screen."
