"I stopped by today to grab a couple of maps, as we are going to be traveling at some point this year. Even though we have GPS and other apps on our phones, I like paper maps. They also have some luggage available and travel accessories."
"Went this morning for a quick notary signature which we called prior to going. There were two notaries available who knew we were waiting. They continued to make phone called and ignored us for 40 minutes. We had to leave without a signature for a very important time sensative document. I will say the gentleman at the front desk was kind and ready. I guess getting new members is more important than taking care of current members. We won’t be renewing."
"AAA Augusta is awesome. Every year they help me with my International driver's license. And fast mail return with it too!!"
"24 hours of hell after arriving at St. Thomas and finding out that our family vacation was not booked for all inclusive even though that is what we requested and paid for. Taylor was our agent just like the other bad post from April of 2021. Neither Taylor or her supervisor Sara was admitting fault and only offered to pay for one dinner..... This trip was going to cost us an extra few thousand dollars which made me sick and in tears. Taylor's incompetence to admit she screwed up and not trying to rectify this for my family was incomprehensible. But for the fact that our son reached Portland, Maine AAA when calling to discuss for the 4th time I don't know how this would have ended. Thanks to Dilan and Rob for being so cordial and understanding and rectifying this nightmare so that we could actually enjoy the rest of our vacation. I will never use AAA in Augusta, Maine ever again for travel arraignments and would advise you all to stay clear of Taylor as an agent!"
"I dealt with Travel agent Taylor and her manager Marc. I’ve never Been on a Caribbean vacation before and I trusted this company’s agents to help guide me. Plans changed during my initial visit to Punta Cana, so Taylor was asked to relocate us. Taylor gave us a few options which was appreciated and we choose Puerto Rico because we still wanted a Caribbean trip. She was nice throughout the whole process but the issue I have with this company is that I was mislead. I was told everything I paid for in the initial price was covered. Fees, hotel room, etc. That is what I expected of Taylor. I don’t need anything fancy I just want to be in warm weather and I want to make sure everything is covered before I get down there. I asked several times if the price I paid to go to Puerto Rico was it and she said yes. All you would be spending money on is excursions, food, and drinks. The money she had from me for my original vacation was maxed out. She put us up in a 5 star resort. It was gorgeous and I was so thankful to be there and I loved it but it wasn’t necessary. The reason I accepted going was because we were told everything was booked. She promised we were “in for a treat” and it was “totally worth it”. We get to the resort and BAM I have to pay a little over $800 for a deposit fee! I was shocked because Taylor told me everything was covered before I went down. THEN there is a $40 charge a day! I had absolutely no idea about these additional fees. Taylor as my travel agent should have notified me about these fees and about the islands covid restrictions. Once I began my complaint I ended up being pushed aside, my calls and emails were not returned and when they were I had to push for them to be returned. I got back from my vacation at the end of April 2021. I waited a couple of weeks before I called and emailed again. I emailed because I was asked to provide statements and such and apparently my email was never received. It is July 6th 2021 as I write this review and through my time communicating with this company I was told they would help me with the large deposit I had to put down the day I got there. I was told something would be done. Weeks go by. I get told there is nothing they can do for me…. I wouldn’t use this company or this agent every again. If you are new to traveling please do not use this company. Being mislead is never fun and being in a completely different culture and the weather being so hot it was not fun or easy having to deal with these discrepancies. Especially when I asked all the questions I could to make sure I knew what I was getting into before I went down there. Thanks for nothing Triple A"
