Reviews
"Very friendly and welcoming environment. Each staff member was knowledgeable and took the time to answer my many questions."
"Dr. Porter and his team are literal saints. They got my girlfriend's kid, L.J., in on short notice, to have a tooth pulled. They were all exceptionally kind, and very generous with the time they took to help us. Doc Porter made sure to explain every aspect of his prognosis not just to us, but also to L.J., in a way that made sense to him, and gave him the intel. he needed to make an informed decision about his dental health. For whatever it's worth, regarding the reviews mentioning staffing issues: The whole State of Maine is having a massive shortage of medical personnel. This isn't really their fault. A few adjectives to describe them and our experience with them: Kind, fast, helpful, patient, professional, caring, flexible, compassionate. Edit, to add a couple more adjectives: Dedicated, informative, OVERWHELMING GOOD, GOOD FOLKS."
"Dr Porter was literally amazing. So good to my son, treated leander like a whole person. Explained everything to him openly and honestly the whole time, a lot of doctors and dentists don't treat children like they are people. Heather helped me to get his referral sorted out and get him in as soon as possible. I feel these people moved mountains for us and I am so thankful to have found them. Both dental hygenists that we worked with were incredibly helpful as well and made sure we were comfortable. I just couldn't be more pleased. Thank you wee care "
"Dr. Porter is very communicative with what is the best treatment for my children's teeth. He and the rest of the staff here seem very dedicated and are pleasant to interact with. We have seen Dr. Marcus another time in Bangor and I have nothing negative to say about any experience here. Special thanks to Erica for her hard work coordinating services. Thank you all for your professionalism."
"Awful communication. Also, my child’s scheduled cleaning was canceled due to they have no hygienist?! That’s unacceptable in my opinion. They then rescheduled with me telling me they would have a hygienist travel from a different location. Yet, again was canceled due to “no hygienist”. I encourage your office to quit scheduling services that you can’t follow through with. Or better yet, close down all together to save us parents the headache."
