"If I could give less then one star I would. He wrote in my notes I had hyperlipdomia, CAD,poor teeth and diminished breathing all over. I have none of these. No blood work was taken to prove I had CAD or hyperlipdomia and no test were run to prove them as well. Im sure he just assumed because i am big or maybe because of medication i am on. Which has nothing to do with hyperlipdomia. My wife being a respiratory therapist also confirmed I do not have diminished breathing all over. Also i am not a belly breather as he said I was. Maybe he didn't like my questioning him ,maybe because I smoke, maybe because he doesn't like big people. Who knows. I wonder how many other he has done this to. From what I have read he is a good surgeon but thats all he is. He not a very good doctor writing in assumptions on charts without proving there is an actual problem. Very intolerant and seemed to push the "exam". Will not be going back to him or recommending him to anyone."

"I came in for a consult to get multiple lipomas removed. Dr Silk immediately told me no and that my tumors weren't a serious enough problem and that it was "cosmetic" surgery so insurance wouldn't cover it. I told him I'd already had many removed and that it HAD been covered, and I simply had more to go. His response was "then go back to where you got them taken out before". He was rude, dismissive, and treated me like I had done something wrong by coming. This was a truly disgusting experience."

He was very informative of what my surgery consisted of and was very kind and compassionate WILL go back to Dr. Silk if I need any more surgery or if a friend or family member should need him I would gladly recommend him.
