"I was receiving once a week therapy from this office from the owner for many years until she delegated me for the sake of expanding her business. I fell through the cracks and got hot potatoed as an open door client for about half a year maybe until finally placed with Diana Santiago. She is one of the types of people that I would describe as someone who should not be in the industry. The way she reacted to me asking for a new therapist bc I did not feel we were a good fit was wild. She got angry, defensive, argued with me, made comments at me, and it took her two whole appointments to accept that indeed we weren't a good fit after talking over me and all of the above. As if that wasn't bad enough she went behind my back and referred me for a Partial Hospitalization Program without my knowledge. Arbour Counseling of Lowell caught on a few issues, brought the matter up to me via phone, and I learned of the referral note saying something along the lines of "m-f 5 hrs a day" signed off by Diana only. I emailed a formal complaint with more detail of these events to the owner of Ferreras' Counseling in Aug 2022 soon after, but to this day got no response. I am disgusted how a place that I had so much positive experience at could somehow become so negligent and hurtful just because their owner took a step back from patient care. The whole experience has made me wary and suspicious of mental health care workers since. The years of therapy I had here with the owner herself feels overridden by the fact that she never responded so it feels like she endorses Diana's behavior towards me as a patient. Because of where things currently stand I would rate this place negative stars if I could and would not recommend this facility."

"I would of given 5 stars as my counselor was amazing but the way this place handled her leaving and she was told she could keep a few clients and then told no she just needs to leave and leave the patients without any type of coverage or care about the well being of the patient. It’s horrible! I would Not recommend this place to anyone!! They Do Not care about patients well being at all and put money first!! I called to complain and no one even gave me a courtesy of a call or to say if they would get me a new counselor!! I was in a serious accident and almost died and have been working through my PTSD and now anxiety and this has caused me to have a huge set back! Like I said they Do Not have the clients best interest at heart!"
