"I’ve dealt with Dr Cook and other physicians at this facility for years and they have been totally professional! But today after having a ridiculous telephone experience in the Lawrence location. Telephone person deserves 5 stars in being the rudest possible and saying get a referral from your pcp?"
"This is the most unprofessional and incompetent medial practice I have ever dealt with and I have been to some bad ones. I have been here many times, dealt with many of the doctors, nurses, and office people and there is a consistent environment of poor communication, documentation, and blaming every issue on the patient. The practice manager clearly has significant employee morale issues as many of the doctors have left and the office workers have been extremely rude to me on numerous occasions completely unprompted. They somehow send the wrong dosage prescriptions to the wrong pharmacy even though at my last appointment I confirmed my current pharmacy. This information should have been saved in the system for them. When I called asking to have it corrected the woman scolded me for "not specifying which pharmacy to send it to" when I confirmed my current pharmacy at my very recent appointment. Additionally, I wouldn't need to be calling if you just filled the correct dosage at the pharmacy that you already managed to send it to the first time so why did you send it to a different one the second time huh??? They tell me my insurance requires a referral from my primary care which I have had sent to them and confirmed the sending of multiple times, but every time I show up they complain about not having a referral. It's not my problem that your referral department does not do their job. I confirmed that the fax number was correct so you can't pretend you never received it. I was told a treatment that was recommended would absolutely be covered by my insurance after asking multiple times as it was expensive. Months later I got a bill for 3X the market rate for that type of treatment amounting to THOUSANDS OF DOLLARS. They LIED saying it would be covered and then billed THREE TIMES the correct amount for the treatment according to my insurance. These are only a few of my interactions here as there are MANY more bad things that occurred. Here's a funny one. The guy was taking my weight and called me fat lol! I am a pretty average weight for my age not obese like most people in there. DO YOURSELF A FAVOR AND NEVER GO HERE. If medical practices weren't so overly protected legally they would absolutely be sued out of business for what they are doing to people."
"Office's phone service is HORRIBLE. I schedule appointments here for other patient's and unfortunately have to call them often. I can't even tell you how many times I have been on hold and the phone gets picked up and they hang up instantly. I can understand phones getting busy but IT IS YOUR JOB TO ANSWER ALL CALLS. Get better staff or a better phone system bc yours is AWFUL."
"**Update** We are still unable to obtain my husband's records. Over 20 emails & calls this week go unanswered. My husband did reach Dr. Divya Shah ONE time and she promised to send the records to our new Neurologist, but she lied and never did. We now have to contact the CEO of New England Neurological in order to get the records from Dr. Shah. I'm so angry & disappointed. The people coming to see you NEED HELP! These are HUMAN BEINGS!! How can you be so inhumane & plain awful to another living being?! If you go into medicine to just collect a paycheck and not to actually help people, shame on you! People coming to you NEED HELP! Dr. Shah, you are a disgusting, immoral creature who should have your medial license stripped from you. Terrible. JUST TERRIBLE. My husband went here after a severe car accident for memory loss help as well as help with loss of feeling in his hands and legs. Not only was he dismissed, he was given an exorbitant amount of medications he didn't need. Dr. Divya Shah "couldn't find anything wrong", so she put him on medication that she wasnt even sure would help. (Got to keep those pharmaceutical kickbacks coming, apparently). Dr. Shah was happy to continue to collect the insurance money though. Now we are trying to obtain his medical records so we can switch to a professional & well respected Neurologist, but no one from Dr. Shah's office will call us back. Our emails go unanswered. They will not provide the comon courtesy of even responding. If I could give LESS than 1 star, I would. Please do not go here. Please do not send your loved ones to Dr. Shah's office. Find someone who actually cares and will provide you with knowledgeable care, respect & kindness. This office does not offer any of those things."
"My son was getting meds from Jenna Perrone for mental health care. On 5/18 he recieved a letter from her office to notify him of separation of care, no reason why and he called 4 times to get refills and he was ignored. I called and tried to talk to Jenna, Melissa who answered the phone was extremely rude and hung up on me. This place is a joke and they don't really care about patients. I am trying to get him some real help he is withdrawing from meds she was prescribing, Stay far away from this place it's not a professional place."
