"Great place to stay. The houses and rooms are stunning. Amazing service. The people were so lovely. Great location. Literal walk into town. So much character. We would definitely come back. The breakfast spread is lovely and a nice bonus. The fresh baked cookies in the afternoon were a treat. Umbrellas in the foyer to borrow if raining. So happy we stayed."

"My wife and I just wrapped up our honeymoon including a two night stay at the Nathaniel Lord Mansion. Not only were the staff welcoming but easier than ever to communicate with - impressive considering there are multiple buildings to manage. Room was beautiful, clean, and comfortable. Very close walk to the restaurants and shops making the whole trip a breeze. Lots of additional amenities available to make your stay in Kennebunkport wonderful (especially the chocolate chip cookies)! Already looking forward to our next stay."

"We celebrated our wedding anniversary at the Nathaniel Lord Mansion and stayed in the Lord Deluxe King with Soaking Tub room for two nights. The room itself was beautiful - very moody which fit the fall weather. The fireplace was out, which was disappointing, but that can happen with old houses and the staff were sincerely apologetic. The bed was incredibly comfortable and the soaking tub was massive - the bathroom is something we chuckled at given the 90s style which clashed a bit with the room's decor BUT again, that tub was a delight. Breakfast in the mornings was a highlight and the fresh chocolate chip cookies left out in the evenings were so, so good. We had one issue with our AC that was addressed the moment we raised it. Overall, this is a really fantastic place to stay and we'd absolutely recommend to anyone visiting the area."

"We stayed in one of the smaller rooms, which was less impressive than the ones on the website, but it was clean and comfortable, and the shower was great, which really is all you need The location is amazing, close to the water and a short walk to town, but away from the bustle and gloriously quiet. I loved the free bikes, the wonderful outdoor ‘lounge’ and the afternoon cookies. All the staff we met were very welcoming. The breakfast was tasty, though like other reviewers, I was surprised at how little there was, considering the cost of the rooms"

"Overall we had a very nice stay. Pros: Reasonably priced Inn/Hotel with clean and modern rooms. Comfy bed and spacious bathroom. Slept wonderfully. Easy walk to center of Kennebunkport and many restaurants and shops. Cons: Breakfast was meager and not well organized. Coffee machines were worn and dirty. I had to run thier Nespresso machine through 5 cleaning cycles myself to get all the chunks of gunk out. Also ran out of pods one day without replenishing. Overall this Inn is very nice and you will have a comfortable stay."
