"I went in to urgent care with a sore throat and pharyngitis so bad I couldn’t speak I tried writing it down, I tried using a text to speech. The ignorant front desk lady had the audacity to tell me “I can’t help you if you can’t speak” and I was trying but clearly walking into an urgent care if I have no voice like it’s common sense. The CNP was lovely inside one of the only reasons I gave such a generous rating and the guy who saw me and took my vitals seemed a bit annoyed at first, but he ultimately was very kind towards the end once we figured out to communicate without talking. I assure you, it is much scarier knowing you have no voice walking into an urgent care, and people admonishing you when you try to explain… I also have given a lower rating due to the lack of XRAY equipment at this location, but overall the Low but honestly generous rating was because the receptionist in my professional opinion she should be been written up or fired."
"If I could give it 0 stars, I would. Front desk lady was rude and told me my copay was $100. I told her I have never paid $100 to come to an urgent care and she told me that I was wrong and told me I had the worst insurance and that I owe $100. We kept going back and fourth and I told her nicely that I am going to leave and I will get treated somewhere else. She then told me I can’t leave here and that I have to get treated here. After going back and fourth about it, I have decided to stay and pay the ridiculous amount she thought I owed. This wasn’t the only thing she was going at me for as well. The guy that I saw mistreated me and told me I just have another virus and just to keep doing what I have been doing. I saw my primary care the following week since I wasn’t getting better and I tested positive for strep. This was one of the worst MGB Urgent cares I have been to. If you can go somewhere else, I recommend you go there instead."
"Don’t be fooled by the other bad reviews. the staff at this urgent care were amazing and helpful. We arrived at 7, when there was still a medium sized queue of people ahead of us but were seen swiftly. The nurse we saw who took some tests was amazing. She took the time to listen to our situation and helped us plan a course of action that suited our needs financially and medically while consulting the doctor on shift. The doctor was also great. We only met for maybe 10 mins max. but she was quick and professional making sure to cover all bases before giving us a diagnosis, advice and a prescription. Would recommend. Definetly call first to check how many people are in the queue ahead of you before arriving."
"Rude front desk workers. Over 2 hour wait with flu symptoms. “We don’t share wait times”. Someone wanted to go get a coffee who has been here >3 hours and they told her if she’s not here when she gets called they will just take her off the list. I don’t understand why this process can’t be smoother for the unwell. Be nice. Have a water machine. Be nice to your patients. Let us know our wait times. Maybe turn your tv on. Maybe have tissue boxes that aren’t empty cardboard for us who are sick and have to blow our noses after 2 hours. Never coming back here."
"I was a little afraid to come here after seeing some of the reviews, but I was in too much pain to try anywhere farther. I made a good choice! Wait was less than half hour and the whole visit took just over an hour. The medical assistant and nurse practitioner who saw me were friendly and attentive. I could tell they were super busy but they still answered all my questions. The medicine they prescribed really helped and I feel great now!"
