"Dr Zilberfarb dx and treated both knees about fifteen years ago. Since then he has been an essential, primary resource in my healthcare team. After developing a cascade of symptoms rafter acquiring covid he was the first three providers that day to suggest I needed to see a specialist and consider a Long Covid diagnoses. His assessment was correct. I've since enrolled in the Recover study at BI. In March of this year my shoulder finally gave out. I returned to his office and got the bad news: repair it now or forever have limited mobility and strength. Two weeks later he performed the long delayed rotator cuff surgery which took 3.5 hours instead of 2.5. I had anxiety about the surgery, being out of work for months and the oft stated arduous recovery. Five months later I'm at 95% mobility and stronger than pre- surgery. I saw him this week for my last post-op visit and he was very happy with my progress. Dr. Zilberfarb is not only a remarkably skilled physician but a great surgeon and a kind, considerate provider. "You would like to give ten stars! I can’t say enough how lucky I was to have Doctor Zilberfarb operate on my knee. Here is how it all begun. Three months ago I damaged my knee and tor a minescus. The constant excruciating pain was unbearable. I Visted Plymouth Bay Orthopedics the Doctor literally spent 5 mins and sent me to 8 weeks of PT. And a surgery date of August 8. I felt rushed through the appointment and barely had time to ask questions. Later on that week I tried calling the office left numerous messages and i never got a call back from the doctor! On my third PT visit I was in tears with pain. I decided to seek other alternatives. Last Monday I called Doctor Zs office they gave an appt the same day i gathered my records and MRI to him he scheduled a surgery the same week on Friday.
