"I am happy that Bayo referred me to this place for my 14yo Chihuahua. My baby started changing & I initially thought it was because of her old age but it was diabetes. The vet & the entire staff were so friendly & helpful. Once they ran tests on my dog & administered her annual vaccines, they quickly found out what was wrong & were ready to get to work. They explained everything to me. When I was worried, they reassured me & even helped schedule a demo to show me how to administer the insulin at home. This place is not cheap by far but the quality of work they provide is worth the cost. I also recommend packing your patience because the wait time can be lengthy. Each time I have visited, I have spent at least an hour there. I trust them 100% with my dog."
"I recommend you find a different vet if you have the chance. Their is no time to really discuss your pet with the vet. They grab your animal, give them shots without explaining what they're doing and hand you a huge bill. Our pup had lyme disease and we had to wait 15 min to humt down a vet to better understand his lab results... because the person handling him that day was a tech and "didn't understand the test results" they really would've and tried to send us home without giving us an update. Lastly, their reception staff messed up the data entry amd swapped our dogs information for someones cat. Really the whole place is a mess and we are glad to have moved out of the neighborhood and found a much better, i.e. normal vet."
"Having a sick animal causes anxiety not only for your pet but for yourself!! Jackie at the East Boston Animal Clinic has made having a sick animal less worrisome. Jackie takes very good care of me and my animals and I don't know what I would do without her. Jackie understands the needs of my dogs and tries her hardest to get me in as soon as she can. Excellent Customer Service!!"
"The doctors here take wonderful care of pets, but no matter what time you make your appointment, you ALWAYS have to wait at least 40 minutes. This is hard when you have a dog, who has high anxiety about vet visits. I don't know why they can't seem to work this problem out."
"I've been taking my dog here for the past 3.5 years and never had any issues. I recently got a puppy and my experience bringing her to EBAH the past 6 months has been a nightmare. The first few visits they kept forgetting what vaccines she needed and ended up giving my puppy an overdose of the bordetella vaccine when my partner took her to one of the visits which caused her to vomit and have diarrhea for two days, and they charged me for it! After complaining about it they offered me a credit on the account. They also kept demanding my dog was taking sentinel when I've never purchased that brand. Then we got our puppy spayed. She took out a few of the stitches so we went back and they stapled her up. She took more staples out so we took her back again. She still had another week before the stitches were ready to come out but they took ALL of them out prematurely. My boyfriend noticed when we got home and her incision was practically wide open. We took her back and they told us she was fine, then tried to just put glue on it. I told them I was not comfortable with that so they stapled her back up and said she had to keep her cone on another ten days. Our dog had to remain in her cone an extra week because of their incompetence. If you request any records or files be prepared to wait at least a month. The staff here is not trained at all. I do not recommend you take your animals here."
