"Worst leasing office and apartment owner (unit 703) I've dealt with in the US so far! Horribly unprofessional, these guys accepted my advance rent cheque and then suddenly voided my lease at the last moment. I wasn't even given a valid reason and could sense racism in owner's communication. I strongly suggest all educated professionals / students/ families to steer clear of renting any unit in this apartment."

"I had an incredibly negative experience with Regency Building Co in Brighton. After paying two months' rent and signing the lease, I discovered several major issues with the apartment, including a ceiling that was coming off, a shattered and burnt kitchen counter, broken blinds, and damaged flooring. When I raised these concerns with the owner and management office, they voided my lease instead of addressing the issues. To make matters worse, the owner and management office were extremely unprofessional and disrespectful throughout our interactions. Cheryl from the leasing office, and the owner of apartment 703 were pathetically rude. Never rent that unit, I repeat-NEVER!! They were unresponsive to my concerns and even demonstrated racist behavior towards me. They do not care about your time and energy and they do not care at all about your concerns. Overall, I would not recommend renting an apartment at Regency Building Co. Their lack of professionalism, poor maintenance of their properties, and disrespectful behavior towards tenants make them one of the worst apartment management, I've ever dealt with. Save yourself the trouble and avoid this apartment at all costs."
