"Review for Reservoir Towers Apartments under Harrington Housing During my time with Harrington Housing, a notable name in the student housing industry, I found myself contending with a series of deeply concerning issues: Misleading Showings: Initially, I was introduced to an inviting apartment on the 11th floor. Yet, in a twist, I soon found myself being nudged towards a basement apartment – a transition that was not only unexpected but felt misleading. Discriminatory Patterns: My stay unearthed an unsettling trend: it appeared that non-white tenants were more frequently directed to less desirable units. Such practices are not only questionable but cast a shadow over the company's integrity. Safety Hazards: The design of the apartments posed genuine concerns. With living rooms repurposed into bedrooms and inadequate ventilation, smoke became an alarming constant. My voiced concerns about fire risks, however, seemed to vanish into the ether. Privacy Oversights: It was disconcerting to discover some rooms devoid of doors, an omission that glaringly compromised privacy. Tenant Relations & Screening Failures: My grievances regarding a disruptive roommate were met with inertia. The irony was hard to miss when this very roommate was later ejected due to confrontations with the management. The ordeal not only spotlighted Harrington's lax tenant screening but also their indifference, as they offered neither an apology nor compensation. Financial Inconsistencies: My experience was punctuated with a seemingly insatiable drive from Harrington's side to levy more charges. Amidst myriad concerns, their reluctance to offer refunds or remediations was particularly glaring. Branding Ambiguities: The presence of "Kaplan" branded rulebooks within the premises added a layer of confusion. The relationship, if any, between Harrington and Kaplan remains nebulous, further muddying the waters. To conclude, my tenure with Harrington Housing was riddled with discrepancies, from questionable practices and safety concerns to evident apathy towards tenant welfare. As a prospective tenant, I'd advise a careful examination and perhaps a dose of skepticism before committing to this establishment."

"We lived in RT for 2 years and loved it. We had a few maintenance issues, but nothing major and the maintenance team was always very responsive. The best part of living at RT was the front office staff (particularly Carlo) and the maintenance team. They were all nice, helpful, and responsive to our needs."
