"I have been a resident here for almost 10 years. would highly recommend this property to anyone. the location is very convienent to alot of places. the current maintenance and office staff is the best it has ever been. very friendly and professional at all times. the few minor issues that have arose has always been addressed promptly. i have absolutely NO complaints about living here."
"This is the 4th time I have had mice in my apartment. Do not rent here! Even if this is a normal occurrence for RI, which they will try to convince you that it is, they will not send any pest control experts unless it is a Tuesday. So, yes, on a Wednesday night, you will have to wait until Tuesday the following week and have no where safe to stay! Previous post: I have really tried to keep my patience with this complex but this is my third time in about a 6 month span that I have had mice in my apartment. I am a very clean tenant and have never had an issue with other apartments I have rented. I would highly recommend against renting here."
"Pilgrim senior center wonderful place we all get along you can see friendly people here"
"We never missed a payment, we were quiet, clean, curteous while we were tennants. We had a great upheaval in our lives which caused us to have get out of a year lease 3 months into it. We spoke with the manager and she informed us that we couldn't get out of the lease outright (which we expected and I don't hold that against your company). We were informed that we could make payments on the penalty ($2300) for breaking the lease. These payments could be as low as $50-$100, as long as Picerne was getting their money it would be okay. We also saw in our original lease that we could sublet. So my partner and I pulled all of our resources together, and we decided we could make $100 payments and we found someone who could sublet. This sad and stressful moment in our lives was finally looking up. We brought this info to your managers office where we were told OOPS! You just decided subletting isn't something you do anymore (thanks for telling us before this point) and that we couldn't do payments towards the penalty under $430. So we had to put our security deposit down on the payment, and now we are going to continue struggling to make ends meet because of how you operate your business on a whim. Are you not training your staff, or does that training include lying about your policies? I would never suggest anyone work with such a business where the rules change only when it is to the detriment of your customers. They use the cheapest matte paint on all the walls in the apartments so cleaning the walls is impossible without scrubbing right through the years of old paint on the walls. Also, the $25 pool pass is a joke - we were already paying an ever increasing about to live there."
"We've lived at Fairfax for about a year and it's great. The staff is helpful and willing to work with you. The amenities are nice and for qhats included, the prices are very good. The only bummer is how they modeled our particular apartment style. When they remodeled it, they put a dummy wall in between the kitchen and living room, so no electrical and it makes the space feel closed off. The cabinet space is nice, but at least some plugs would have been awesome. Also - no drawers in the kitchen. But otherwise a great location - down the street from a big Wal-Mart and 5 minutes from major freeways for easy commutes. Overall, would definitely recommend for small families families (2-3), singles, and couples."
