"Wow, where to start. The "floor plans" section of the site does not contain floor plans. It lists the bedroom/bathroom combination options, but does not detail apartment layouts. Rents are not listed anywhere (even a ballpark), but you can still filter by price to know that, in Keene, NH, you cannot rent a 2-bedroom apartment for less than $2000/month (despite your responses to other reviews, this is not the market rate for the area, especially with the number of accessibility issues you've displayed). The "contact us" section of the website lists only a phone number. No hours during which the phone number is active, no email address, and no TTY phone number if you're Deaf or hard of hearing. The form did not submit for me, as is common when you haven't accounted for different browsers and/or versions. Another accessibility issue. Their website does include a "Commitment to Digital Accessibility," which very helpfully includes the statement "Please contact us using the form on our Contact Us page or by the email/phone number located on our website." Again, there is no email address, no Deaf/hard of hearing option, and no listed hours during which the phone number is active. I shudder to think about the accessibility of the actual building. One of your amenities is keyless entry but then if you hover over the little "i" it says it's only for common doors. You don't even have keyless entry on the apartments?? What century was this building converted to apartments again? You list wheelchair accessibility as an amenity for the apartments (which...nope, not an amenity), but I would love for anyone who works for you to try to unlock and enter one of these apartments using a traditional key while sitting in a wheelchair. I'll bet you don't have door buttons as an "amenity" either, right? Because why would wheelchair users need those? I live in a one bedroom in Seattle. You know, one of the hottest rental markets in the country. Your building should not be charging anything close to what is charged out here given the location and amenities. Your rents are on par with what I pay for my 1-bedroom, but I have a heated, year-round pool and my rent also includes covered parking and charging for my EV. I'm always looking into living options back home, but unless I want to quite literally throw my money away for nothing, I would rather live in a box than in one of your apartments. And if you're going to advertise accessibility as an amenity, you should maybe take some time to read the ADA. I'm going to be very glad to come take a walk around the building and see if the guidelines are met next time I'm in town. :)"
"I sincerely regret my decision to apply for housing at Colony Mill. The corporate greed demonstrated by Brady Sullivan is absolutely outrageous. Not only are the apartments overpriced for what they are, but they nickel and dime you at every turn. They require 3 months’ rent to “break” your lease on top of 60 days notice. Furthermore, when applying you are required to put down a full month’s rent which is non refundable after your application is accepted. Yes, you read that right. Just to apply, you have to pay a full months rent even if you don’t sign a lease. While I’m furious that I have wasted an entire month’s rent without ever setting foot in these apartments, I’m very glad that not a single cent more of my money will be going to Brady Sullivan."
"Such a beautiful and well-kept building. I miss all of the stores that used to be inside of the Mill but elm City Brew pub is still absolutely amazing and the Keen casino is Right nearby if you're into that sort of entertainment. Overall I give this a five-star review due to the groundskeeping and since I grew up in Keene I'm very nostalgic to the old 'outlet' like shops and food court that used to exist. I bet these make for amazing apartments or office spaces."
"Colony Mill in most aspects was a great place to live. The apartments are brand new and beautiful, the community is friendly, and the employees at the front desk are always warm and helpful. The experience was only marred by some greedy decisions made by Brady Sullivan corporate ownership. Both the rent and all other fees are dizzyingly high, and I found it rather dishonest to continue charging us for the amenities during lockdown when none of them were available to residents for the better half of a year. We were also sent a strongly-worded reprimanding letter when my wife's job forced us to relocate halfway through our second year of tenancy, and they would not budge on their exorbitant move-out fee of 3 additional months' rent (over $5000) to "cover their costs" while they "look for new tenants", despite the fact that the move was unavoidable and their extensive waitlist ensures units are snapped up the second they go on the market. All in all, a very nice place to live, if your pockets are deep enough to withstand some distasteful money-grabbing from Brady Sullivan."
"I made my mind up to move here when I first heard they were going to become apartments almost 2 years ago.As a Keene native, I have seen this building through many transformations , way back to the Douglas Toy and Keene Electric Supply days. The historic apartments here now was the right way to go ! After 32 years of home ownership, I was ready to downsize and be able to walk most everywhere in a very walkable community. An old mill with exposed brick, large window, beautiful floors and a rich history have always been a draw to me. Now actually here enjoying all that, I can also say the staff is doing a great job, are attentive and very helpful when needed. My apartment is bright, quiet, and has everything I need including washer and dryer. I am looking forward to many years here and meeting my new neighbors."
