"Terrible experience! Half of our room had no power. The phones did not work! We were told the room had 2 queen beds but when we arrived they were full beds, so I had to sleep on the floor. The wall paper was peeling off and we couldn't adjust the room temperature from AC to heat in New England in December. The continental breakfast was the same you get at any hotel however the food was over cooked so I only had a cup of coffee which was actually the best part of our stay. Coffee was Green mountain coffee. The pool was heated and went from 3'-5'. The hotel staff was very polite and friendly however they refused to stop the cocaine party in the room next to ours. We had banging, screaming and drug use on the other side of the adjoining room. We ended our stay a day early and asked for a refund to which the general manager said he could only give us a 30% discount. Needless to say we will NOT be returning with our children EVER. Too bad too because we have reasons to revisit frequently but will not."
"From boogers on the shower curtain to pubes all throughout the bed to a slow draining tub, questionable stains on bed skirt and dirty coffee maker. I'll let the pictures speak for themselves. Don't waste your money or listen to the reviews of 5 stars. Go somewhere else."
"My wife, youngest son and myself were in town for a visit to Keene State. We have stayed at HIE before and loved it. This ine was not one of the better ones. The room itself was nice, clean, and spacious, but... The mattress was too soft, my wife wasn't even crazy about it, and she's not picky, so I didn't get much sleep...and the walls are thin and the folks next door came in at 2am and proceeded to have a conversation. They were not talking loudly, but it passed through and added to keeping me up. The AC is ridiculously loud. The sink is in the room, not the bathroom, which I really dislike, is very low, and doesn't have a lot of space. The bathroom is tiny. Service, on the other hand, was excellent. Dillan at the front desk was super helpful, friendly, and professional. He gave us directions and a destination downtown where we had a great evening. The woman at the desk in the morning was very friendly and helpful as well."
"Stayed 7/7/23 Feel like a MOTEL. The room decoration is very dated -old and not function. NO USB charger in the room/ at the lamps!.The bathroom sink is outside the bathroom. Bathroom is tiny. Ceiling paint and wall are falling apart. Fridge cabinet door cannot close. Fridge makes a loud noise all the time. The carpet is well used. The pancake breakfast (from the machine) is Uneatable ! I recommend stay with other hotel than this hotel"
"Another hotel in the area screwed up our reservation, but the Holiday Inn found a room for us on very short notice, and accepted our cat, and even changed rooms for us when we figured out we could not sleep on the pullout bed in the first room. I cannot stress enough how amazing the service was. Literally saved us from sleeping in the moving truck, and made it into a comfortable night. Room was clean and comfortable. The staff all deserve a bonus!"
