"Very poor presentation at the front desk. I check in at 9 30 pm and if customer is paying $220 a night and they ask for a bottle.of water Shame on Marriott staff to ask one to be purchased. I mean when will these corporations understand not to nicker dime a customer. In residence inn Florida there were 2 complimentary half liter bottles and here 2 small ones and then this attitude.. shame on you guys"
"First, I want to start by saying that the hotel location is NOT as bad as other reviews have stated. In comparison to other hotels in the Boston area, this hotel is a step below but, is definitely not anywhere as bad as other reviews has stated. The sofa in the room does need an upgrade but, the service at breakfast and check-in were great. In my opinion, the location was perfect since it was easy to access public transportation to anywhere. Yes, I like nice hotels as well but, there is nothing wrong with this hotel or its location. If you have lived in or experienced city life, you'll consider this a decent hotel as well. The daily breakfast was as expected and was always refilled when necessary so, the other reviews that stated the breakfast was below par is not correct. However, I understand that this may have been a one off incident but, was perfect when I went at different times during the scheduled breakfast period. Yes, I would definitely stay here again for the price, location, and convenience."
"Very good hotel and staff. Manager Paul was really nice to deal with while relocating my mother. General Manager Megan also was outstanding. She spent 5 weeks at this property and felt like it was home. Hats off to them."
"We rented 2 rooms here. One of the rooms was about 80° and took forever to cool off. The refrigerator in the other room wouldn't get cold and we couldn't change the temperature. The linens for the pullout couch were stained, we ended up just sleeping on the couch (not pulling it out). We also paid $40 to rent a spot in their parking lot, where the window of my car was smashed out in the night. We were woken up by the Boston police banging on the hotel room door to tell us what happened. The hotel's security guard apologized and told us that it was his fault and that he dropped the ball, however the general manager informed us that the hotel wasn't responsible. They said we parked there "at our own risk" and we had to pay close to $500 to have the window fixed. This is outrageous to me, especially because they told us the lot was monitored by the cameras due to all of the homeless that frequent in front of the building. I rented these 2 rooms for 2 days because my wife was having a major surgery at a nearby hospital. I did not need all of this extra stress. The hotel wouldn't do anything to help me. I would NEVER stay here again, nor would I recommend this hotel to anyone else."
"The Residence Inn is without a doubt an excellent choice for any traveler seeking comfort and modernity. The rooms are designed with utmost attention to detail, delivering an exceptional blend of contemporary aesthetics and practicality. Each room is equipped with everything one might need for a comfortable stay, regardless of the duration. The amenities are top-notch, aligning perfectly with the modern look and feel of the rooms. One aspect, however, that might need careful consideration is the hotel's location. Despite the hotel's stellar services and amenities, the neighborhood is not particularly inviting, especially for solo explorations. The surrounding areas may not be the safest to wander around alone at night, and even daytime walks could be a concern. However, if you're the type who doesn't mind relying on cabs or ride-sharing services such as Uber, then this location won't be much of a hindrance. In fact, with the convenience of on-demand transportation, you can fully enjoy the comforts of this hotel while effortlessly accessing the city's attractions. While the location might present a slight drawback, the high-quality accommodation offered by this Residence Inn ensures a pleasant stay, making it an option worth considering for both short and long-term stays. In summary, this hotel excels in providing top-tier services, making it an excellent choice for those prioritizing comfort and modern amenities."
