People hang around all the time living in these rooms rooms that smell was filthy torn up carpet I came into a room I was in 4 years ago for 2 weeks and I would never Stay there again and Mold you could smell it and dirt and dust my allergies just went crazy period and The Thing is that the curtains were hanging halfway off and the same room was exactly The same as 4 years prior, curtains hanging off filthy dirty looks like the original curtains from 50 years ago never been cleaned the chairs are all Worn and filthy dirty cardinals. smells the sinks are clogged the TV brakes the sound goes out It's a terrible nightmare place"
"The rooms are pretty bare, but for the price of roughly $90, and no deposit, it’s still cool. There’s a pool, goes 11ft deep (fortunately not many people used it so we had it basically to ourselves the entire stay) and a creek to fish in within walking distance, as well as a snack bar at the front. I wasn’t very happy with the house keeping tho. It felt like they were avoiding my room, I’m a pretty clean person and keep most of my things packed away so I’m not sure why. At one point I got home early and saw the woman acting extremely grossed out with something in my room, not sure what it was, but she also allowed her young daughter in my room aswell. Overall, you get what you pay for."
"I stayed at The Pineapple Inn for a week this past late winter. I found them through a Google Search, and was looking for basic lodging, due to broken pipes at my home, which left me with no heat. Their rates were affordable, and was located within an easy commute to my workplace. I called and booked a one week stay, and was quoted a price, which was affordable. When I checked in, I was given another price which was actually higher, and was told the lower prices rooms have you sharing a bathroom, so I paid the higher price. The room was grossly outdated, with cheap furniture in poor condition. The thermostat didn't work properly, and when the heat came on, the pipes made such a loud banging noise that sounded like someone was breaking in. The TV and remote didn't work. The sheets and towels were never changed during my stay, nor was there any daily housekeeping. The walls and doors were paper thin, and it was so easy to hear others talking. Every night I would hear people talking outside my door, and would go to bed feeling very unsafe. The door did not have any deadbolt, something that modern hotels are required to have. I did not feel safe leaving my personal belongings behind when I left for the day, so I would load my car with everything before I left for work. Every morning I would see white plastic bags of trash in front of everyone's door. A worker would come around pushing a grocery store shopping cart to collect everything for the dumpster. Seeing this gave me the feeling like I was in a 3rd World Country. It was nasty! I was so relieved when check-out day came, and that I had survived my stay. A few hours later, I got a call from a man in the office, telling me I broke the towel rack. I pointed out to him that the towel rack had already been broken, and how I had to put it back together. I mentioned the dead bolt situation, then he told me to forget the conversation ever happened. Basic doesn't have to be this bad, and would advise anyone looking for hotel accommodations to skip this place at all costs."
"I know it's not flashy & glamorous, I'll tell you the honest truth. I like it&in the summer even more. The pool is always open & clean, she consistently checks pH levels & makes sure it's 100 percent safe & hygienic! The rooms are older but clean. I never found Needles or pipes or broken glass any where. I look & check! Very quiet if you don't behave she'll call the cops very fast! I like the fact that cops don't consistently drive thru. I've spent some time there & bc friendly with the maids who are awesome. They will give you plenty of towels just ask! I mean don't go & expect a newly built stuck up environment, just enjoy a good night sleep & in the summer enjoy the pool! I'll admit there strick but for your safety, there's & others! Just bc these newer hotels have pretty awnings & bright colors doesn't mean anything. The only thing is that the $$$ has went up significantly but so has everything. I do recommend this hotel to other's & always will! Ty for being nice to us. If I need a room Your the 1st on my list"
