"I was told to put in an application - I went in there in person to fill out the application I also left a money order with first months deposit as I was instructed I was told that I will be getting a follow up call the next day when I didn’t receive the call I followed up myself and let them know that I had a pending offer somewhere else but I expressed how highly interested I was in their units. Ruth informed me that I will not be getting an answer today because The landlord will not be in today I said OK although that was an inconvenience for me I chose to wait, I called back the day after and someone rudely answered and said “Kevin you have to wait until noon because the landlord still isn’t in yet” now at this point I was told I’d be getting a follow up call within 24 hours it’s now been two days I finally got a callback from Ruth and she gives me a strange story About me having to fill out a release, so that my current landlord can provide rental information to this company I was frustrated because I filled out the application in person and was not given a release or did not explain to me that a release needs to be signed she said it was on the application but I signed the application and she went over the application in front of me and didn’t say anything about a discrepancy about a missed signature so it was a lie I even contacted my current landlord and ask them have they heard from town and country apartments requesting my rental information and my landlord informed me that they were not notified by any other rental property to receive my information but they would but they would be happy to release my information to help me out. When I called Ruth back and informed her that I in fact can have my landlord fax the information over to her. Ruth rudely said “you can have your deposit back” she is the most unprofessional woman I have ever met, she is a snake and I will file a complaint with the Mass Attorney General’s office. This elderly witch does not deserve to be in position of helping tax payers find homes. I felt discriminated against and did not receive proper assistance, instead my time was wasted and I was disrespected. The world would be a better place without Ruth"

"This place is predatory and unprofessional (and likely discriminatory based on the comments from others). My daughter filled out all of the required paperwork and went to the trouble of paying extra at the post office to be sure everything arrived on time. When following up to see if anything more was needed, the “rental agents” answering her phone told her the money order for the deposit and application fee were missing. They offered no assistance and were curt with her during follow up calls. RUDE! My daughter was looking forward to the possibility of moving into her first apartment. I have advised her to file a complaint with the Mass Attorney General’s office, the Better Business Bureau, and file a police report for the missing money order."

"I loved my little apartment. I worked with Ruth and she was so lovely and kind. Very easy to work with and accommodating. I locked my keys in my car and she helped me out by borrowing the spare. There were a few times where I was a few days late with the rent and they never charged me extra. Very reasonably priced housing and great to work with!"

"My boyfriend and I have been living here since April 2017. Michelle was our lease agent and was and is always friendly. Any time we call the management office with a problem or question, they have always been responsive, accommodating and nice. You can’t beat the pricing of these apartments now a days either. They have multiple buildings in Foxboro and North Attleboro. Aside from some iffy neighbors (which you will have at any apartment complex), I have no complaints and recommend Town and Country to anyone who is looking."

"The owner is a piece of work - rude and couldn't care less if you have a problem. Consistent hot water in the winter? Ha!! Plan for at least 3 days a week of cold water. And make sure you take before and after pictures when you move in and out, they tried to charge me $100 to take out two trash bags I left in there, and a ton of other cleaning fees cause the place was "filthy", yet when I asked them to send me pictures of the supposed filth, they showed NOTHING except a dirty floor under the refrigerator. I've never rented a place where they require you clean under there. They took my $500 security deposit, and tried to charge me another $600! They also put the Carpet replacement on me cause there was a small bleach stain in one of the bedrooms, (I lived there for four years) but refused to send me a copy of the bill for that, which is required by MA renters law. Guess you get shady landlords when you live somewhere relatively affordable. Oh, and they raise the rent every single year and each year the raise gets higher (I understand things become more expensive, but they are just taking advantage. Have stayed at three other apartments in my life and each year they only raised it at most $15, these people are doing like $15 increase first year, $20 increase next year, then $30 next year and so on"
