"My daughter and I stayed for the first time at the DoubleTree in Manchester and if I could give a higher rating than a 5 star I would. We stayed overnight on Thanksgiving Day Nov23 and the service, rooms, food were amazing! We also wanted to give a shout out to Rachael at the restaurant. We were in New Hampshire to do some black Friday shopping and she went above and beyond with her customer experience! Even helped us find some amazing places to shop!"
"Over all the hotel is nice and the location is superb Rooms are not the latest decor makes you feel it is an 'old' hotel. No Free Parking (paid $15/day) No Microwave in room. Clean and very friendly staff. No USB charging ports etc."
"We recently had our first experience staying at a DoubleTree by Hilton, and it was a positive one. Right from the check-in, we felt very welcomed and recognized. The room itself was well-appointed, and the bed was extremely comfortable, ensuring a very restful sleep. Breakfast was decent and on par with what we anticipated. Overall, a commendable stay and would recommend to others."
"This is a great little hotel that happily hosts a costumed event every year. They're great to us as a group, and seem to enjoy the bunches of costumed weirdos wandering around. :) The rooms are comfortable and very, very clean. Additionally they're VERY conveniently located for decent bars and nightlife."
"Worst experience with a hotel. They offered an upgrade for early check in between 8am and 12 noon, which I accepted the extra fee for only to be told that the earliest possible would be 1:00. Here we are at actual check in time 3:00 and room is still not ready. You are also not allowed to use the pool until you’re officially checked in with the front desk, so can’t even use the facilities while waiting for your room. Don’t bother requesting a specific room, they’ll go to great lengths to make sure it’s the last one cleaned and not only will you not get in early as requested and paid for but you won’t even get in for official check in time. Happy anniversary, our schedule of planned events was ruined because of this. Will never stay here again. Update: we never got the room we asked for because in order to be able to get in at actual check in, we were forced to switch rooms or wait another hour. The new room was an adjoining room so I could hear the neighbors sneeze. Not conducive for anniversary night to say the least. Tried the hot tub but had to share with a gaggle of young children jumping between the pool and hot tub as well as guard the jet control from a four year old over whose parent thought it was cute and funny to keep turning the tub off. Upon check out, I was double charged for parking and after questioning DK stated she removed the additional charge but then couldn’t give me a correct total that I WOULD be charged. Got 3 different amounts told to me before I requested she write one and sign (she initialed) it on the receipt."
