"Great location! We loved the area. It was quiet and in a nice neighborhood. Very convenient with parking in the back of the house. We stayed in apartment #3. Nicely updated and very specious, comfortable and clean. Wish we stayed longer!"

"Hubby and I decided to spend a night in Newport for a short getaway during Memorial Day. The price was fair for the quality, service, and location. On the day of check-in, the host text messaged me to keep in touch regarding ETA of check in, check in instructions and check out instructions. We’ve been to Newport before and have always been in awe at the coastal town but Admiral Sim’s House definitely delivered. We pulled in to the driveway of a multi level historic home with neatly trimmed landscape and green grass. The weather was perfect and sunny with birds chirping in the distance. There were stairs to the main entrance of the home. Our room was on the second floor, so we went up a couple flights of stairs with our belongings (no elevator of course). We stayed in the Ocean Room that was tastefully coastal decorated and so clean. The King bed comfortable as ever, the room was very spacious. It had a good sized closet, big bathroom! Our short but sweet night stay was wonderful. It was quiet at night. Did I mention it was pet friendly?! We highly recommend others to stay at Admiral Sims House. We will definitely come back."

"This property was top of the top. The room was very spacious and spotless. It was quiet, comfortable and the owners were just so very gracious, friendly, and helpful. I would not hesitate to stay if the opportunity arose again. Highly recommend staying here. The location is perfect for the Cliff Walk. Newport is an easy place to traverse either on foot or driving and Admiral Sims is in the perfect location."

"Planning on coming back here! Our room was very spacious and bright, and everything about our stay was pleasant. The location was also great, as it was just a very short drive to the town and mansions (the area is also very runnable). Breakfast was grab and go fruit cups and baked goods, nothing savory."

"This place is a hidden gem, the process couldn't have been any easier. The house is so cozy feeling, and the rooms were huge, with like 15-foot ceilings. For an old house, it was very updated and modern, and absolutely spotless! It was super quiet and not far from town. I will absolutely come back again, thanks for making my first time in Newport not be my last."
