"Facility and food very good, though somewhat pricey. Service was impeccable."
"Went away for a few days and stayed here and loved it. It's outside of town because my wife and I don't like all the noise and commotion all the time."
"Friendly staff, comfy king size bed, bath/shower should be renovated to match the room. Good continental brkfast."
"The location of this grand hotel is superb. The setting for breakfast is spectacular, the breakfast was not. “Breakfast-included” was a selection of hard boiled eggs, DIY toast, a melon-based fruit salad and yogurt. The hotel itself has seen better days and it seems like the focus of the business is events more than hotel guests. The big event rooms are set up to awe, but our guest room was unremarkable other than its size. We were not staying at the hotel for an event and it felt very understaffed - spare even. It seems like it will be hard for hotels of this scale to offer luxe hospitality to guests, but the rooms would benefit from an upgrade to balance the guest experience while staffing is tight."
"Absolutely had the best experience here , I loved the Atmosphere and the history, the staff went above and beyond to make sure my stay was enjoyable, the food was terrific but being that I am Portuguese and very proud of my heritage when I saw Portuguese soup on the menu I was elated and although it was very good I was a little disappointed that they misspelled one of the most important ingredients in it… it’s spelled chourico not chorizo which is Mexican and the fact that they had no bread to go with the great soup that they made… they did offer a great breakfast and went thru great care to make sure it had plenty of fresh fruit …. I would recommend this place to everyone, I hope to stay again soon.."
