"It is very close to rte 95 and other stores. The rooms could be bigger and the staff friendlier. I came all the way up from Florida with my kids to visit family I haven’t seen in about 8 years. They came to the motel to visit around 5PM. The kids were super excited to see each other and some meeting for the first time. Apparently, someone called the front desk about the “noise”. Kids playing and adults talking. The front desk lady said, “I don’t want to have call again!” I explained to the lady what was going on and that it was early. She said, “people here work the third shift”. The lady gave us a very hard time after that asking for everyone’s ID’s after we already stayed there three nights. My brother who we were visiting called the lady to reason with her but the lady was extremely rude and hung up on him. He tried calling back and the lady hung up again. VERY RUDE AND UNPROFESSIONAL. I also didn’t know that there would be a criminal activity vibe to this place. Avoid this particular Motel 6! Each one is run differently and this one needs customer service training."
"All of the front desk workers have been extremely kind and helpful. Room was clean and smelled nice. 5 stars across the board. Coffee was even good in the morning."
"I usually don't post reviews like this, but this has been the worst travel experience of my life. My wife and I booked here, and when we went to check in, the lobby was dirty and the whole place smelled like cigarettes. We went in the room, which even though being a non smoking room, still reeked of smoke. It also had stains on the linen, and dirt/crumbs on the floor. We immediately went back to the front desk to inform them we could not stay there. It was MAYBE 10 minutes in total from check in to returning to the front desk. They would not refund us and said we had to go through Expedia. Expedia said they denied the refund and they couldn't do anything. I then called Motel 6 customer service who said that I should have been refunded since I immediately came back down and did not stay, and they they would get back to me. Surprise, they never did. As of today I have been trying to get my money back for over 3 months. Today I talked Expedia again who called the property. They stated that the hotel has a note that I did not check out within 15 minutes so they won't refund the stay which is absolutely not true. Unless you want to sleep in filth, do yourself a favor and stay away from this dump."
"Let me start by saying, I called to make sure my reservation was in fact put in because I booked through a third party site at the beginning of the week where the woman on the other end was great. When I called today to ask about early check in, I was told that this location does not offer that and I would have to wait - okay no problem. I was originally told on the first phone call that check in was at 3pm, when I arrived today at 3:30pm I was told that check in is at 4pm and that the manager does not allow any one to be checked in before 4pm. Online ALSO states check in is at 3pm... so now I was upset. I finally get to check in, girl upfront barely made eye contact and barely told me what she was doing when checking me in. There was a couple that came up behind me who I assume just checked in, stopped what she was doing to help me and talk over me to them. Now I'm annoyed. There is no elevator so if you are handicapped and they give you a second floor room, you're SOL. I FINALLY got to my room and walked into a sauna. The heat was turned all the way up and it was completely disgusting. I then checked out the bathroom - there is hair and whatever else in the tub. The sink was completely gross with hair and flem. For $230 I am COMPLETELY disgusted."
"This place is a dump, and I wouldn’t even give it one star. When I pulled up, there were cops outside the main entrance and a lot of chaos. I went into the lobby to check in and there was even more chaos in the lobby. Everyone was yelling and screaming, and some of those people worked there. The woman behind the counter told them to quiet down but that did nothing. I finally found my room - no security on doors, they were unlocked and I easily go in to two separate hallways. When I finally found my room, I discovered how really awful it was. The floors were so slippery, I nearly wiped out in the bathroom. No idea what they use to “clean” it. I left my socks on and they were black. The sheets were dirty (I am praying I did not bring home any bed bugs), the noise level was insane all night; couldn’t sleep. The towels were like paper towels, and the toilet rocked because the grout was all gone. This building really should be torn down and a Holiday Inn Express or something better should go in. It’s in a good location but I will never stay there again. Couldn’t wait to take a shower when I got home. There were people loitering everywhere. I have never felt so unsafe as I did there."
